Great place to stay in Canmore. Good staff, cozy atmosphere, comfy beds, and good size rooms. Nice view of the moutnains from the window! Would stay again!

They said they had breakfast. They didn't. But the biggest gripe I have is the property is right next to railroad tracks. The freight train woke me up at 4:30 in the morning...and that is me sleeping without my hearing aids.

It is always a simple and easy experience staying at basecamp. Walking distance from the main part of town and close to plenty of food and grocery options. Perfect for quick easy lodging on ski trips or as a stopover on a longer drive. The earplugs were a nice touch since trains pass often.
