Description of our home:
*Living Room: open concept living room adjoins the dining area and kitchen. The large windows allow lots of natural light to enter and provide you with amazing views of the water. A pull out sofa in the living room will sleep 2 comfortably.
*Kitchen: fully stocked kitchen with all necessities for preparing a wonderful home cooked meal while visiting the coast.
*Bedroom 1: Kin Bed - sleeps 2 Newly updated!
*Bedroom 2: Queen Bed - sleeps 2
*Living room 3: Couch is a sofa sleeper and will sleep 1-2
*Bathroom: full bath with tub/shower combination.

A Perfect Getaway
Location, location, location! Sandcastle is situated just mere steps from the beach along the Ecola River, an estuary flowing out to the Pacific Ocean. My wife and I and dog enjoyed several hours in the midday sun at the beach mesmerized by the vast variety of seagulls, ducks, and pelicans. There must have been at least 2000 birds flying or wading around the estuary. It felt like being at a nature reserve. This was an experience we will never forget, the highlight of our stay at Cannon Beach. Then a few short blocks away was downtown Hemlock St. with great shops and restaurants galore. Also our son’s family enjoyed their stay as well. Our two grandkids frolicked at the beach along the estuary. Sandcastle is perched atop a two story duplex with a rap-around deck providing an unobstructed panoramic view of ocean, estuary, and beach. We were very fortunate to catch a spectacular sunset on our final evening there. Sandcastle itself was a very peaceful and restful place to kick up our feet and soak in the lovely nature and quiet solitude of our surroundings. The place was spotless and tidy upon entering for our first evening. The house was well appointed with all amenities as advertised. Sandcastle was the perfect getaway for our family. Thank you. Peaceful Beach Getaway
Our family had so much fun staying in your home. We were able to catch up and spend much needed quality time together. Cannon Beach is such a beautiful & peaceful place. We valued every second of our time here. We all look forward to another visit hopefully next year. This rental is highly recommended due to the close location to the beach & shops, cleanliness, and the availability of the household supplies for our use. Great Spot - refreshing
Beautiful place and location for quiet family time - the house was very clean, the host was quick to respond to texts and needs. I would prob say my only Nitpicky issues was for the price some small remodeling or upgrades. The kitchen cabinets seemed older than the rest of the house and the shower turn on and off wasn't easy to maneuver to and to find the right temp was a little learning to do. Other than that we loved the place!

Cannon Beach Castle
We enjoyed our Spring Break trip to Cannon Beach at this clean home that is located within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The view from the house was amazing and it was an easy walk to the beach. We were looking forward to a crab dinner so the host made sure that we had a large pot, crab crackers and seafood forks. This property is dog friendly and they provided water bowls and towels for our dog. We look forward to returning soon!

Our stay at SandCastle simply could not be improved upon. It was exactly as advertised on VRBO. We loved the location and all the amenities. The owners were super friendly; they were also excellent communicators and made sure we had everything we needed. If and when we come back to Cannon Beach, we hope to stay here again!

Perfectly lovely stay. Beautiful home and location. Here are a few things not apparent by the online listing. STAIRS. Only access by outdoor, open, precarious stairs. It was my dog's first time on and I have limited strength. NOT SINGLE HOME. The listing is a unit/condo - at least three other units in same location. OWNERS COMM. The owners make contact immediately and often. Also requires additional contract.

Great beach getaway
Steps away from ocean front and also a perfect walk into town. Scale the beach on your way to Haystack and double back to hit town for a variety of snacks and food. Cozy nook and perfect views for sun set. Saw multiple Elk early mornings but keep your distance for they are big fella’s not scared to tango. Our German Shepherd didn’t phase them.

March Getaway
My mom and I traveled to Cannon Beach for the first time in March. While the PNW weather was wild (wind and hail and sun), our stay here was lovely. Clean. Quirky (it’s a cute, beachy yurt-like shaped place). And Convenient. The rental is the upper level facing the water. We didn’t get to take advantage of the porch but loved being able to walk in and around town. And on the beach! The hosts were extremely communicative and I recommend a stay at the Sandcastle if you’re looking to visit CB.

A cozy home for storm watching
This is our second time staying here and I can’t wait to come back! Beautiful sweeping views, easy walk to town, and just steps from the beach. Spent the mornings watching the storms roll in and a herd of elk roam by, spent the day walking the dog on the beach, and the nights in one of the comfiest beds around. 5 stars!!

Location, Location, Location!
Escaped the ice in Portland for a relaxing trip at the beach with our pup. The location of the house couldn’t have been more perfect for our needs. It has a great view of the ocean, beach and Ecola Creek around the corner/north of Haystack Rock. It’s also just a few easy steps to the sand from the property. It’s right in town, but not in a busy area, so you can visit all the Cannon Beach shops and restaurants on foot without worrying about parking. The house itself is quirky in a good way, nicely furnished and has everything you need to make a gourmet dinner, have a game night, or just relax and watch TV (tons of streaming options). We also saw many elk grazing in the area which was very cool! Very enjoyable trip!

The accommodations were great. It’s an upper floor of a house with 180 degree views. Loved the access to the beach and to town. Inside was clean and well kept for an older home. Had everything that we needed and even had towels to dry/clean off our dog. Was an easy walk to Haystack Rock on the beach and fun walk back through town. Close to the main business district with shops, restaurants and bars. House is right on the North end of Cannon Beach by the creek, so it was easy to find. Hosts were easy to communicate with and made sure everything was as promised upon check in. We would stay there again in the future.

A slice of paradise
We had the pleasure of staying here for our first time visiting Cannon Beach, and it couldn’t have been better. It was wonderful to watch sunsets from the dinner table while we enjoyed our meal. The home was very clean and well equipped for all of our needs. We’d love to stay again sometime!
