When the wind blows it feels like an intense wind tunnel. It blows large heavy things off the porch so there are cushions and tables that can be set up outdoors for evening enjoyment

There is no stove; only a microwave, crock pot, coffee maker, and toaster oven.

This is a remote location and the internet can go out during storms. AT&T is the only mobile service that works inside the cabin. Most other services work nearby but not at this exact location.
Check out the destinations in nearby Canyon, Texas. Panhandle Plains Museum is one of Texas’ largest museums and there are great restaurants and a quaint shopping town square with a farmer’s market on Sat mornings during the summer.

Allow some extra time to experience the zip line between the Palo Duro Canyon entrance and the last cabin in the private gated community.
The owner is nearby for any needed entertainment suggestions.
Guests may drive in on the road and stay in the cabin. No access to Palo Duro Canyon directly from the cabin. For hiking guests will need to drive five minutes to the Palo Duro State Park.

Take all trash to the outdoor trash can when leaving. Do not leave food out to attract unwanted visitors. Remove sheets from any used beds.
