Wonderful stay near Paarl
We had a wonderful 10 day stay at this working wine farm for a very reasonable rate. The hosts was very friendly and attentive and everything that we may need was provided. Our kitchen was stocked with things like balsamic vinegar, oil, spices, ample tea and coffee as well as fresh home made rusks every morning. We also received a complimentary bottle of their wine. Our laundry was washed and ironed twice without any additional fee. We only tipped the person who did the laundry. Our apartment had a private patio and garden and overlooked the vineyards and the beautiful Cape mountains. One can walk around the farm and the vineyards and picnic under the trees infront of the unit. This farm is also near Paarl and the other wine farms. Melkbos and Blaauwberg beaches are 40 minutes away and Cape Town about an hours drive. The roads are very quiet and this makes the drives pleasant. We can definitely recommend this place and would come back again.
