Definately needs updating, fresh coat pf paint. Rip up the old worn carpets as well. Policy states no smoking but hallways smelt like pot for 3 days.

I booked this place for my boss thinking that since it was pricey to be a Super 8 it would be decent. Not every one can tolerate pets. Some of us have allergies to pets or pet smells. A lot of the rooms that my boss was given still had pet smells and or pet hair in them. It is the hotel's responsibility to make sure if you are going to be pet friendly then to make sure you don't expose others to the hair and smells. Not good for my boss. He was not happy at all.

Signage was a lower price than booked at and no adjustments. Reserved king bed only had 2 queens. There was very much hair (looked like pet hair) all over carpet and one bed. Darkening curtain broken and hanging 1/2 off. Also very dirty. Not up to rating posted on Travelocity!

Getting to parking lot is mildly difficult. It is right next to a truck stop and a 24 hour wrecker service so I used my headphones for noise canceling at night. My room was clean, water pressure was nice in the shower and staff was friendly.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It's comfortable, close to highway 57 and there are restaurants nearby. It isn't a fancy place but they offer a nice breakfast, allow pets and the place is clean. We will certainly stay here again.

I don't think anyone had actually cleaned the room before we arrived that evening. There was no tissues in the receptacle in the bathroom. The room had a bad odor (it was the pet friendly room) but no one had bothered to sanitize the floor or any of the surrounding area. We did not bother to eat any of the breakfast items (not after my experience with the condition of the room. The night staff told me of a lady who had stolen a bed cover and the consequence of that (as though I looked suspicious for that kind of activity). The hall way was old, badly worn and needed some serious cleaning. We had stayed at a Super 8 in Beloit, Wis. the night before and already formed an opinion about the Super 8, their prices charged for the conditions of the rooms and especially the service and introduction I received at this unit.

While the staff was very friendly the room had a bad odor, like mildew. They were very dingy inside hallways and rooms. . They had a very unsafe feel about it, loud and boisy at night .
