Really enjoyed our stay in Cardiff - hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. My only criticism is that the rooms don’t have usb charging points for phones - I didn’t think to bring a charging plug as most hotels don’t need them nowadays - and I really don’t want to be going back and for to reception to charge my phone. It just makes the hotel seem a little dated - apart from that the hotel was nice and clean.

The hotel staff were fantastic. Especially David and Jeremy on front desk. The food in the restaurant was amazing and even got a discount for being a Radisson member. Excellent location close to centre and shops and the theatre was literally next door which was perfect. We booked a couple of treatments, back and neck massage and express facial. My friend had a fabulous treatment but mine was terrible. I am a beauty and massage therapist and the person who did my treatment clearly didn't know what she was doing. She didn't massage towards the lymph glands, she massage over my spine and my neck was in agony for over a week afterwards. I should have said something at the time but I was in too much pain I just wanted to go and lie down. The pool area was so busy there was nowhere to sit and the hot tub was broken so this really made the whole experience memorable for all the wrong reasons I'm afraid. I also didn't want to be responsible for someone possibly losing their job but in hindsight I wish I had spoken to the Spa manager about it when I was there.

No compaints about service, check in, staff or room. Breakfast was very pleasant except for fried egg which were dry where they had been out a while. Selection was very good and plentiful. What let the hotel down for me was spa/pool facilities. Pool was cold, steps in and out of pool felt very unsafe for older people like myself. Treatments were very good but i missed having a quiet relaxation room with loungers in, to have a quiet lie down. The room in use was not particularly comfy to do that.

The hotel was in a great location to visit Cardiff. Front desk was very welcoming especially Dyfed. Room was in 2 singles and once we for it to be put into double it was done very quickly. Room was clean bed was comfortable pillows lovely. We had breakfast in the morning there was a variety of fresh fruits and English breakfast options. Would love to visit again to use the spa and pool facilities we just didn't have enough time.

The hotel was immaculate, really well maintained, staff we so friendly and helpful in every area of the hotel! The only thing was the aircon wouldn't work and it was too warm in room 309 but everything else was perfect thank you!
