My daughter and I stayed for one night on our way to visit Cardiff Uni . The location was great for the city centre and shops . Room was basic but very clean and we had a very small issue with our toilet flush that was fixed immediately. Our room was opposite the castle and so was on quite a busy road that made it quite noisy, however the staff were all amazing, breakfast was great and so I would definitely stay again, although I would probably see if there is a quieter room available and bring ear plugs .

Expensive for a hotel that needs a massive makeove
Bed was comfy, room appeared clean however extremely outdated. Cold with no heating, appeared to be single glazing, bathroom was a state. Side of the bath was water damaged. Doors all chipped. Not all the lights in the room worked. For the price I wouldn’t recommend or stay again.
