Free wifi. 25 minutes from Schweitzer Ski Resort, 15 minutes from Silverwood Theme Park. Equi-distant between Couer D'Alene and Sandpoint. Kids can enjoy feeding and petting the sheep we raise. Nearby National Forest with great hiking and biking trails. Only 1 mile off of state highway 95.

This was a beautiful property! The owners were amazing and so considerate. My only note is that the shower head didnt work very well. But other than that it was 5 stars!

Quiet Getaway
The house had everything you could want for a nice, quiet stay in the mountains. The owners were very responsive to any request (which was only for butter to cook eggs!), and even provided us with snacks and wine for our first day! It was a big house with lots of room. Although close to owner's house, felt very private. Enjoyed seeing the sheep and Max every day. We would highly recommend staying with Mark and Victoria.

Great stay in Northern Idaho
Home was perfect for a family stay. Tons of room. Kids appreciated their own rooms and full kitchen & living room were great for eating and watching movies in the evening. Very quiet and out of the busy areas yet only 10 minutes to Silverwood made it a great location!

Off the grid is amazing. Hosts are wonderful and inviting. We will be returning and perhaps even more. We were surprised how they built off the grid and remain off the grid. We have wanted to move to Idaho for a while and this is making even more of a reason with people like this in Idaho.

Fantastic quiet house off the beaten path
This was the perfect house for our family for our trip to Silverwood. It is about 15 minutes north of Silverwood, and pretty easy to find once you figure out where the turn is. The house itself is clean, had 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs, one downstairs) along with a couple of sofa sleepers which we didn't need. All the beds were very comfortable. It also included a gas grill and a DVD player and TV, although at the time of our stay did not have a microwave, as its an off-grid house. Not a big deal for me, I have lived without a microwave before. :) The owner told us we were about a week early for his power upgrade, so it will probably have one by the time this review appears. The host was very pleasant, responsive, and easy to work with. I would highly encourage any families looking for a nice, quiet house to take a serious look at this property!

Family Fun
If you are planning to get away and want a quit place to lay your head at night this place was perfect. Our family had enough space to relax and loved being in the woods. The kitchen was perfect to cook some easy meals. This place was clean and serine.

Wonderful All Around
Everything was just perfect about our stay! Communication with the hosts was clear and helpful. Mark, Max (the dog), and the sheep heard all welcomed us as we pulled in and our teens absolutely loved it! Mark even let them feed the sheep and ducks, which they’re still talking about more than the trip to silverwood. Going to Silverwood was our main reason for the stay, which was a quick and easy 20 min drive. The guest house was clean and had everything we could possibly need or want, including fun family games for us and our 4 teens. There was also plenty of beds which was awesome since our kids all appreciate having their own space. Overall, we loved our stay and this will definitely be our go-to lodging for any future Silverwood trips.

The property owners were great and very accommodating. We were able to make full meals with the use of the stove and bbq grill. We had 8 of us in our party and we all had a great experience. Lots of comfy beds to accommodate our group!

Awesome getaway
The family needed a little time to recharge. This cabin was perfect! Toys for the kids, beautiful scenery and all the things needed to make our stay comfortable. There is also plenty of space, privacy and great host. We arived and was given the rundown and always greeted with a friendly wave. We will be back.

Great getaway in a peaceful area!
My family and I were in the area for a wedding and decided to give this a shot given that it was closer than the hotels in town and we could all stay together. Unfortunately, our trip didn’t work out 100% as planned but we did get to stay one night. The owner was fantastic and super friendly to my family and made everyone coffee in the morning. Highly recommended!

Beautiful area, nice comfortable home.
House is tucked back into the woods making AC unnecessary. Our party of 7 fit nicely and we didn't feel crowded. The beds were comfortable. The owner was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed since they were right next door. We did experience some power bumps but only temporarily and it didn't effect us much. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Farm!
We were warmly greeted by the owner upon arrival and given the run down on the house and property, we were introduced to the sweet farm dog Max and even got to pet the little lambs one morning! While the house does sit on the same property as the owners house, they were very quiet, and we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. It is an easy drive to Silverwood, with a full grocery store just down the road. The house was spotless, and had plenty for all ages, books, toys, games etc. It does not have a microwave, so prepare for that. The host was so accommodating and accepting of our family and our daughter with special needs. We would without a doubt rent from this host again!

This property is a convenient location for anyone wishing to visit Silverwood Amusement Park. Off the highway and off the grid, it's a couple of miles back in a wood area that is very quiet and secluded with the owner close by for anything you may need. Mark is very friendly and accommodating. He supplied anything we needed. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away and get off the grid and enjoy some peace and quiet. I would stay there again if/when I plan to revisit the theme park

Wonderful stay
We had a great time with our kids at this cabin. We stayed here while we went to Silverwood for a couple of days. It’s close to the theme park while feeling like a getaway in the woods but with modern conveniences and cozy accommodations. My kids loved feeding the sheep and the treehouse. The owner is very friendly.
