Good overall
The hotel is in a very convenient location near the mall and parkway. There's also public transportation available nearby with the Long Island Railroad and LI Bus. The suite was spacious, with comfortable seating on the couch and accent chair. The lighting was also good. The refrigerator and counter area were clean upon arrival, though it would be nice for the hotel to provide dish detergent since the suite has a full kitchen dishes and utensils. The kitchen area was small, and the dinette table had a water stain. I wasn't thrilled with the design of the bathroom, which placed the sink outside of the door from the toilet and shower. Personally, I prefer a bathroom where everything (sink, toilette, and shower) is behind one door. I was surprised that the suite wasn't equipped with a smart tv. I was looking forward to streaming on Netflix or YouTube, but only limited cable and local channels were available. Good overall.

If you are considering this hotel and you have anywhere to be on a schedule or expect to check in early, on time, or within hours of on time, rethink your choice. Guaranteed check-in is 3pm. We called multiple times to inquire about an early check-in which we knew was not guaranteed. However, we were traveling from out of state with an infant and small child and had a wedding to get to. I was told to call the morning of to check availability. Morning of we called as instructed and were told we would be able to check in at 2. On arrival, we were told the earliest the room would be ready would be 3:30. Again, guaranteed check in is at 3. I mentioned this was not going to work as we had to leave for a wedding. We were repetitively told the room would be ready in 20 minutes over and over again. At 5:45pm, there still was no room available. Room was finally available at 6pm. An absolute nightmare for a family with two young children to be stuck waiting in an unclean hotel lobby for 4 hours. At the very least, honest communication would have been appreciated as clearly the room was not being cleaned when we were told it was at 2:15 or multiple times thereafter. General manager is not reachable on weekends so be forewarned.
