Fishing Resorts & Hotels in Carlisle

Excellent place to stay, was convenient for a Saturday night out with a friend close to Carlisle town centre, the beds was comfy clean & nice bathroom i was pleased it had a bath as i only have a shower room at home it was lovely & relaxing, Slept very well, i forgot to put the do not disturb sign on the door so i got a knock on at 9am from house keeping which i didn't like. The breakfast was amazing fresh Cumbria products jams butters etc, the fried eggs was so tasty & fresh the sausages was brilliant & was free. Overall 10/10 glad we choose to stay hete definitely would stay again it was safe & was pleased to see it was a genuine hotel not housing unruly impostors.

This is my 4th visit to this excellent hotel, always on a one night stay as I am taking the Carlisle to Settle train the next day (must see!). This hotel is a great place to stay, the staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and I always get a great nights sleep here. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the station, the building is quite old and has a lot of character. Incredible value for money and well located I never consider staying anywhere else if I am staying in Carlisle. The breakfast at 10.50 pounds is well worth the money.
