For a property this exclusive, we should have been told that the restaurant would be closed the two days we were there. In addition the house car was not available. Our water and towel were not replinshed. And one day were told the wine at happy hour was free and the next day we were told that was false. Not a good look for a $$ hotel.

I went for peace and quiet and solitude and it was everything I was hoping for. Comfortable bed Excellent breakfast Free water in the mini fridge Cookies every night Excellent ocean view Walking distance to downtown (though they have a shuttle) Full size toiletries in the shower Soaking tub Spa on site Room service I felt pampered, but left alone, which was perfect. Could not have been happier.

Beautiful property, nicely updated feels like a european hotel by the sea, modern rooms and bathroom. Kind staff, quiet , easy to walk to downtown carmel. Great breakfast and it was my birthday and they provided complementary champagne.

This was a great hotel. We loved it for our anniversary stay in Carmel. Breakfast in our room every day. then long walks along the beach to town. We have stayed in Carmel many times- this was the best.

This property was in the perfect location to walk to the beach. It was very quiet and the staff was amazing. Room was on the smaller size but will definitely visit again.

This is a lovely place with well-trained and kind staff. However, our ocean view room had an ugly construction site in front of the ocean view. While that is not the "fault" of the hotel, we paid too much for the "view". The room was nice, with great amenities and comfort. We appreciated the free shuttle, too. But ultimately we were disappointed with the limited menu dining option and the "view".

Beautiful amazing place right by the beach. Quiet with really comfortable pillows and a 20 min walk to down town Carmel and 1 minute walk to the beach. If I was made of money I’d sleep here every night!
