On the Beach! Provided Comcast highest speed internet where you can work and don’t worry about connections while enjoying the beautiful lake All brand new hardwood floor.. Lake Huron Cliff Cottage is located in Carsonville, Michigan. Between Lexington and Port Sanilac. The Cottage is overlooking Lake Huron. Gorgeous View from the top. There is a stair to access the private sandy beach. It is so private... The house has a private entrance. It is over 1500 square foot house with 2 private bedrooms and 1 open bedrooms and one Private bedroom and its bathroom attached to the garage. Beds and mattresses are brand new and comfortable. The cottage can accommodate up to 13 people. Lots of space for RV to park.canoes used only when we have adults guests not accompanied with kids.

Weekend getaway
The cottage was as described, George’s communication was excellent. The views were great and the cottage was clean. The only issue was we couldn’t use the shower, there was no hot water, kind of a big deal. We weren’t offered a discount because of it which was disappointing and we were told no one was available to fix it until after our stay.

Great property and amazing view
George’s cabin is wonderful. The view is amazing and having your own private beach is a huge bonus. The cabin is extremely clean and well maintained, spacious and has everything you need. Stairs to the water are a little worn but had no problem getting down to the beach. Just have to be careful. Highly recommend this property.

Carsonville weekend on Lake Huron
This is the 2nd time we’ve been here. We like it because it’s private, quiet except when the waves and wind get crazy which is pretty cool to experience. Our dog loves it. It’s simple, relaxing and reasonably priced for a property backing right up the the lake! We’ll be back again.

Great weekend get away!
This was a very nice, super clean comfortable stay. Comfy beds,.great kitchen. Everything you need. Just like home. The stairs going down to the lake are a bit worn and could use an update. But once down to the lake it is beautiful!! Wonderful stay. We will be back!

We had a great time at this cottage and loved the private access to the beach! The house was clean and the beach was well maintained and fun to play on. George was always quick to respond to questions and very courteous throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to get away for the weekend to relax.

A great placeto rent for a breath taking views of lake Huron close to a large Marina and plenty of little stores our group included three generations and we all had a great time the steps r a little worndown but George said they getting them replaced this fall has everything you could want a private beach large yard and it's pet friendly my mother is 65 heavy set and diabetic and she managed to make it up and down the steps to the beach so just take your time on them and you will b fine there was plenty of towels so not sure what all the reviews about no towels was about would of been nice to have the extra cargo space (we packed a whole laundry basket of towels) but not a issue by any means thanks again can't wait to bring just the wife back next time😉😍

Family vacation
My first impression was via communication, which was great! Host was communicative and accommodating to our needs. Location is private and has a decent outdoor space. The view is outstanding and having a private beach, with sand (!!) definitely made the two night stay worth it. Everything else was about average. The home definitely needs updating, a few repairs, and maybe a better attention to detail regarding cleanliness. (E.g., Shower curtain had mildew/mold, damp gross towels left in dryer, found some dishes that were dirty.) The outside may have presented better if tables and chairs were clean and set up to use. We had to personally clean and set them up if we can wanted to us them. The stairs to the beach also are in need to attention. The twin beds were comfy while the queen beds you could feel almost every spring. The house functioned for what we needed but I felt like I was staying at my grandma's friend's house, not a vacation rental. Especially since you are required to bring your own towels to shower. I do think this rental has massive potential and absolutely functions for it's purpose but lacked in expectations I would think of with a vacation rental. This trip was my husband, my 6 year old son, 20 month old daughter, 2 miniature dachshunds, and myself.

Happy Times!
It was the perfect up north getaway close to home! We loved the private beach and swam in the lake everyday. The stairs down to the lake might be tough for elderly folks and toddlers. The place was very clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. The Stone Lodge up the road had great burgers and pizza! There is a market in Port Sanilac for groceries.

Could be perfect
The home is spacious for bigger families, even with one bathroom. We has some hiccups and George was very responsive and helpful. Very clean and well appointed with everything you need. It would be perfect beach home if some landscaping was done. The overgrown bushes and invasive vines obstruct some of the view, even on the beach and make getting to the beach more difficult, as well as drive into the driveway. The fallen stairs need some work too, but overall, we would recommend the beach property because the home and view is that nice. Just needs some landscaping TLC.

Great Lake Getaway
Great place to take the family and enjoy the beauty of Lake Huron! The view of the lake is really spectacular! This home is clean and cozy. The best part was the private beach where we felt we had the lake all to ourselves to enjoy. The host is hospitable and readily available to answer all questions. Thank you for a lovely stay. Great Lake Family Vacation
This was a great week stay for our family. We had the best beach on the Lake! The place was super clean and had everything you need. We bought our dog. George recommend a great place for day boarding for our dog so we could do a day trip to Frankenmuth! Lots of great places to do day trips with family. My 8 year old love the lake and finding rocks! We had a wonderful time here at this cottage! Everything you need is here, plus an amazing view! We we’re in town for a graduation party and needed a dog friendly place to stay! This place checks off all of the boxes in our list! We didn’t see any bath towels, so I would bring some of you plan to shower. We had extra beach towels so we we’re ok!

Great weekend get away !
The cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. Plenty of room to relax, excellent back yard set up and a beautiful view watching the freighters. Close to Lexington and Port Sanilac. I have already recommended the cottage to a couple of friends!

Great little lake house!
Really enjoyed the view of the lake from the house, loved watching the boats and barges sail by. The smart TV and the overall coziness of the home were great. The staircase to the beach is really showing it's age, so be very careful while using it. The bathroom is a very tight fit, so if you are tall like me (6ft), it may be an issue for you.

Fabulous!
We use vacation rentals often and This is the Cleanest vacation rental We’ve ever stayed at. Everything was perfect. Comfy beds, the view is gorgeous and we had everything we needed. Super responsive and easy going host. Back yard was a dream, we felt secluded in a good way. Interesting rocks for beach combers and the occasional piece of beach glass too. ☺️ It truly was perfect

Would Definitely go back
The place was just what we were looking for, very private, with direct access to the water. We wanted to take the dogs someplace where they could swim for hours on end. This was perfect. During peak vacation times, privacy may not be as ideal, but it was perfect for us. The only slight downer for us was that you provide all your own towels. Being on the water and a beach, this is completely understandable. However, we were not aware until well into our trip. This was a stop during a road trip we took, so we had to stop and purchase towels on the way. Wasn't a big deal, and I guess we should have been prepared, but with everything else you have to think about when taking a trip, it wasn't on our radar. But still a great place in a great location.
