Crossroads Loft: Steps from Rt. 66 & Carthage Square

This 1880's executive loft has been completely renovated and is located one block off of the Historic Route 66 and the beautiful Carthage square. It's within walking distance to the Civil War Museum, shops, coffee shop, and restaurants.

It boasts 2 great rooms, a bedroom, and luxurious master bathroom.

Although this loft has the charm of the original wood floors and brick walls, it also has modern amenities such as dishwasher and convection oven.

This townhome/loft has its own private entrance and nearby free parking. You will have access to Wi-Fi, cable, 2-person Jacuzzi, washer, dryer and all the amenities of home.

There is much to experience in our quaint town. There are monthly Art Walks, Food Truck Fridays and weekly live entertainment on the square. The Civil War Museum is literally next door. Within walking distance, there is a coffee shop, deli, an art gallery, antique shops, boutiques, bowling alley, historic courthouse, historic library, restaurants, authentic Hispanic stores and cuisine.

Within a couple of miles, there is the Precious Moments Chapel, Route 66 Drive-In Movie Theatre, The Power's Museum, Municipal Park Golf Course, and historic Victorian homes.

We 3 sisters had a fun trip and loved Carthage. The Loft was absolutely amazing. The pictures in the advertisement were so good, but I wasn’t expecting it to be that good! Was I wrong! I wish I could describe how nice the Loft was. I highly recommend it. The remodeling of old building and the decor was amazing! This is the place to study. We 3 enjoyed it so much.

My husband and I stayed at this perfect Loft for a week, 2 Sept - 8 Sept. We were visiting my daughters family which also consists of our two very young grandchildren. We had been disappointed with previous years using two hotels in Carthage and went this route this year. It was perfect. It was clean and comfy. Every comfort of home was thought of and so much space. We never felt cramped when the kids came by. We will continue to book this venue for years in the future!!!!

Upscale downtown loft
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. The building has been fabulously remodeled with an open concept, loft feel including tall ceilings, columns, and windows. The living room has a huge, amazing couch that we both loved! The bathroom and kitchen are both well planned and spacious. It was very easy to find items in the kitchen. The owners took great care and thought throughout the property to be sure their guests felt at home. The property is also extremely immaculate. We felt very safe staying there and hope to return in the future. It was a lovely place to stay and we highly recommend it.

Beautiful loft in downtown. Wonderfully decorated and very comfy and so interesting the way it was laid out with downstairs/upstairs and in such an old building that had been renovated to look and be so amazing. Host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Stunning Gem
This property is a delightful taste of the beautiful historic charm Carthage has to offer. The property has amazing and unique features such as lovely hardwood floors, large windows, and fun architecture. The linens for the beds were very high quality and made for a very comfortable night's sleep. Overall, we had an amazing trip and this home made the venture even better. Whenever I am next in Carthage, I will definitely be staying here again. I very much recommend it!

A unique find
This loft was a hidden gem. The pictures were exactly what was delivered with this rental. We loved the architecture and uniqueness of this place. It is located right on the square in Carthage, which has a variety of shops, eateries and a YMCA right around the corner. The check in process was seamless, and on street parking couldn’t have been more convenient.

Hidden little gem
I loved being able to park right outside walking in from the street, felt like you walked into a whole Nother little world. Everything is well appointed. Just what you need. Felt like home only complaint would be needed to be refreshed windows and everything were a bit dusty, other than that, no complaints. We would return, and we would recommend this place to others.
