Situated 50 meters from Paraíso beach, and 500 meters from the picturesque Carvoeiro Beach, I rent T1 equipped for a good holiday in a quiet area. Consisting of 1 twin bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room with sofa bed, terrace with table and chairs, private parking (capacity 2 adults or 2 adults with one child). Perfect place to stay
Nice quiet basement apartment that has a great location a 10 minute amble to the center of town. There is a well appointed kitchen so you can cook in if you like, but the place is steps away from a store and several very good places to eat

Excellent property for two people. Lovely location above cliffs, easy walk into town and down to beach, local shop and nice restaurants. Special mention for Maria who was a truly excellent host. She keeps an immaculate and very well and thoughtfully kitted out property - down to the spare adaptors should you have forgotten to bring your own. She lives adjacent, but was very discreet. Quite exceptional!

Comfortable and relaxing get away spot
My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in July. Property was clean and felt spacious, the property stayed surprisingly cool, but the air con was great to have when needed. The apartment is equipped with everything you need from tupperware, to beach towels, to all kitchen appliances and to good wifi. The property is in a great location to get around the Algarve and has 2 beaches within walking distance (under 15 minutes). The center of Carvoeiro has plenty of restaurants, which is a 10-15 minute walk or if you do not fancy going into the center, there is a complex less than 5 minutes away which has a few restaurants, bars and a Spar. In regards to the hosts, Maria was very responsive and friendly. There was another lady who greeted us and gave us the tour (we thought she was Maria's mother, but not sure), she was very friendly and helpful, she even came to wave us off. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can definitely see ourselves staying again.

Mathis apartment is perfect for 2 people and well located, short walk to beach and center of town. It is immaculate inside and out. Kitchen is very well stocked and a steady supply of clean towels. Our host Maria, is wonderful.

Charming stay in amazing location
My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at the end of September. Maria greeted us with her huge smile and showed us around the property. She lives in the top half and the rental is on the ground level with a delightful courtyard for dining and lounging. There is space for a small car to park in front. The property has a terrific view of the ocean from the courtyard and it's within walking distance of the main beach and town with many shops and restaurants. Even a small grocery store about a block away. The house, although simply furnished, has everything you'll need and was extremely clean. We cooked many meals there. Maria was a delight and even though she doesn't speak much English, we were able to communicate with lots of gestures. It was sunny and in the 80's every day, but cooled off at night with no need for the air conditioner. There is a washing machine, but no dryer. We did as many locals do and hung our laundry on the drying rack outside. There was only 1 roll of TP and paper towels. Everything else like plastic wrap, napkins, condiments, clothes detergent, toiletries, etc. will need to be purchased at the store. We loved our time spent there and hope to return one day. Amazing place to stay in Carvoeiro!
We loved Maria’s apartment. The location was great and she is a wonderful host. She goes above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. The hot water heater was broken when we got there and Maria had someone come fix it immediately. Maria came in and tidied up while we out enjoying the beach each day. She even did some dishes and our laundry. My only note would be that the beds are firmer than we are used to and she prefers guests not to use the AC at night as the unit is loud. We were there during a hot stretch so it would get a little warm at night. Not a big deal. We would definitely stay with Maria again.

Maria is a fantastic host - from the start to the finish she made us feel so welcome. Had fresh oranges on arrival from her garden and everything was spotless. The location is perfect, only a short walk to the beach and many good restaurants and shops. Will definitely be booking to stay here again.

This was a fabulous stay. We had originally booked the Trivoli 5 star resort but chose to stay here instead and are so thankful we did. Beautiful secluded and quiet beach across the road, walking distance (10 min) to main beach with shops and restaurants. Grocery store 5 minute walk up the hill. Absolutely perfect stay with ocean view from the terrace where we ate breakfast every morning. Maria is a wonderful host, and we highly recommend this property. We will be back!

A little gem!
The photos on VRBO don’t do this property justice - We choose it for its location as we wanted to be close to town but we were so surprised on arrival at the beautiful view of the Atlantic from our huge terrace. Inside is very charming and very well equipped. Maria is a delight and looks after you like family. A steep hill to town but worth every step!
