Private 4 Bedroom Home with a hot tub

This home is close to it all yet feels so far away. You are 5 minutes from 64 and can make it to almost anywhere in St. Louis in 30 minutes or less. The mall, grocery and restaurants are all 10 minuets away. If you don't feel like being in the hustle and bustle of the city or local attractions you can relax on the patio or in the hot tub.

There are 3 good size bedrooms on the main level and one in the basement. The pool table is in the basement along with a wet barn and small refrigerator.

The back yard is fenced. There are lights above the back patio.

The house has a 2 car garage and double driveway. The property is entered from a private gate. We will issue you a code the day of arrival.

I am available if needed. I have an office at the storage facility that is on the main road by the entrance.

This house sits behind a large storage facility on 30 + acres. We just rehabbed the second house on the property and plan to live there until our kids graduate and move on. We also have a large barn on the back of the property we will be offering for special occasions. The house and barn will not be rented at the same time to different groups.

There is plenty of room for parking. We have spaces available if you need to park a large trailer or Rec Vehicle. If you need hook ups they are available for an additional charge.

Listing is misleading
Our group(all adults) picked this property because in the listing hot tub was mention so prominently. We were staying there for five nights and were all looking for relaxing evenings in the hot tub. We learned,while on the way therefrom en e-mail (an hour before checking time) that hot tub is not working properly but service was called to fix the problem. Thru our stay I was communicating with owner of the property to check on the progress. Unfortunately no one ever came to fix the tub so relaxing evenings in the hot tub did not happen. Also grill tank that was on the property was empty and I was told I can get a full one at the gas station(!). Our group asked for a discount because main part of our stay turned out to be not true-hot tub listed in the title of property was broken! After string of texts, owner stop and answering, so no discount for us, no hot tub during the stay and thank God we had our own little charcoal grill so we could grilled

Secluded Peaceful and Comfortable Property
Great place for a reunion of my siblings and spouses. Plenty of space to gather in small groups or all together. We enjoyed the pool table and the basement area to play games and the patio area to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning and meals outside as the weather was nice. We were very pleased with this property and the owners response to communication. Would definitely stay here again!

Family reunion
We came to the area for a family get together and needed a place for myself and teenagers and my sisters family. We had kids from 5 to 17. Space was definitely a requirement! This place had it all! We had plenty of space for teens and younger kids. From the hot tub, to the farm animals, pool table and tvs in each room. Everyone was able to hang together or be in their own space. Want to cook? They had everything you needed. The host was easy to contact and very friendly as well. We highly recommend this location!

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Technology is obvious an important aspect as there per plenty of TVs and charging options for devices. We also loved the property as the family has farm pets which was an awesome experience. There were plenary of food and shopping options in the area and it's only 20 minutes from St Louis.

Needed a place to stay close to St. Louis for a bachelor party. This property is only 20 minutes away. It's a great place that feels secluded from the big city, which is what we wanted. Hot tub and pool table were fun. Would 100% stay here again!

Great stop in St. Louis
Everything about our stay was great. The house is large and offers everyone their own space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals. It’s off the beaten path yet just 15 minutes to anything you want in the city. Our dogs and kids loved the pig, dog, chickens, and horses! We even got some fresh eggs to bring home. Would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful stay the property is more than pictures can describe. The host was extremely helpful and allowed me and my guest to walk around and look at the animals. It's was almost like being in the middle of nowhere but near everything. This is a prime location looking forward to booking it again.

Great stay!
We had 3 couples, a teen and toddler staying for a couple nights. It was very roomy and had plenty of room to spread out. The basement was great for watching movies and for the toddler playing with toys. Very clean and nice extras with nice hand soaps, coffee supplies, etc. Planning to stay again in the future and would definitely recommend!

This was a great place for a Thanksgiving gathering for two families that met all our criteria: they had a pet, and we had an electric vehicle. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with sundry utensils and other items. Heidi communicates very promptly. The hot tub, while warm, was unfortunately on the fritz.

We were a group of 7 attending a family wedding in Highland, IL and wanted to do some St Louis tourist stuff. The property was perfect. So much nicer than a group of hotel rooms. We enjoyed the space and 3.5 bathrooms. Small fenced backyard for dogs. Rosie the pig was a very gracious greeter.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is well laid out and very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and used the grill most days. We enjoyed the animals, and the long driveway gives the place a feel of being in the country. I would recommend that the listing for beds be updated. There are not 2 sets of bunk beds so there are only 7 "beds". We had air mattresses along so were able to accommodate everyone in our group. One maintenance items we would suggest is that the trees over the drive and garage area be trimmed up so that the limbs don't drag on vehicles.

Beyond expectations
Heidi was very responsive from the day I booked her rental. We traveled to Il to visit with family. This property was very close to my uncles house which was PERFECT. It exceeded my expectations. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. This house and property is well cared for. We couldn’t find an iron/board. When I reached out to Heidi she gave me potential areas to look. After not being able to find it, we found she had dropped one off at the door the very next morning!! I wasn’t expecting that at all. The house is well stocked, we did run out of garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels, but if that was the only thing we needed after 7 days, it’s a win! There is construction next door but wasn’t a distraction at all. Do not let that deter you from selecting this property to stay in. It is a very easy drive to all the sights to see in St. Louis. We loved the free range chickens, the pig, and horses. We even got to see a family of deer daily! If we go back to Illinois this house will be where we stay again. The only thing Heidi could improve on would be a few more coffee mugs!

Great place and location.
This was a great place. Having all the room and amenities that's this place had was wonderful. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows and sheets! We had a few questions and we got answers right away! We will be booking in the future for our next trip for family graduation!!
