Vacation apartment with large natural stone terrace, sea view guaranteed
It is very special to sit on the large terrace made of natural stone and let your gaze wander over the sea, the silhouette of Capri and the Amalfi coast. You also have this fantastic view from the two rooms of the 80m2 large light-flooded apartment. The decor is lovely, modern and tasteful. The connection with the sea and the southern atmosphere in the garden, the scent of roses and herbs, as well as olives, lemons and oranges are the characteristic feature of this new villa in the Cilentan style with two residential units. Parking, washing machine, satellite TV, beach chairs are available. The location on a hill 130 meters below the medieval Castellabate in the middle of the Cilento is quiet, but not completely secluded, but in the midst of several detached houses with gardens. Up to Castellabate, down to Santa Maria. Within walking distance you can reach both places, shops, bars, restaurants or the beach in 25 minutes

If you just want to walk by the sea, you can walk for hours from Agropoli to Ogliastro.

Atemberaubende Aussicht
Die Ferienwohnung liegt wunderschön auf einem Hügel über Santa Maria de Castellabate und hat eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer und die gegenüberliegende Amalfiküste. Nach einer Tagestour mit Bahn, Schiff und Bus dorthin haben wir den Blick von einem ruhigen Ort genossen, inkl. Sonnenuntergängen über Capri, Ischia und Amalfi.
Giesela Birkenthal ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die uns schon vorher gut informiert hat, inkl. einer Wegbeschreibung, die wir bis zur allerletzten Zufahrt auch gut gefunden haben. Da haben wir uns nicht mehr getraut, die kleine steile Straße herunterzufahren - geht aber! Nur zu!
Ein besonderer Dank gilt der großzügigen Unterstützung durch sie und ihren Mann bei einer kleinen gesundheitlichen Notlage. Insgesamt ein Ort zum Wiederkommen!

Soggiornare in Casa Luce ha reso la nostra vacanza a Castellabbate semplicemente perfetta.
La casa è arredata con molto gusto, la vista sul mare che si può godere dal giardino, dal soggiorno e dalla camera da letto è veramente fantastica (la sera il tramonto sul mare è spettacolare).
La casa dispone di tutto quello che serve per preparare facilmente e godersi eventuali colazioni, pranzi e cene in location.
I letti sono comodi e le stanze ampie.
Il clima durante il nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto: non abbiamo sofferto il caldo e la sera si dormiva freschi, senza bisogno di accendere l'aria condizionata.
Gisela e Salvatore sono stati molto cordiali e pronti a rispondere ad ogni nostra esigenza. Li ringrazio ancora.
Segnalo solo che la casa è in collina, per raggiungerla ci vuole un po' di pazienza e una guida non da principianti. È comunque a pochi minuti in auto dal centro di Santa Maria di Castellabate, dai supermercati della zona e dalla spiaggia.
Consiglio di non seguite il navigatore per arrivare perché porta fuori zona, in prossimità del Conad di Santa Maria di Castellabate è meglio contattare l'host che vi indicherà come raggiungere facilmente Casa Luce. Torneremo sicuramente! ☺️

Unterkunft mit bezaubernder Aussicht
Der Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung im Erdgeschoss hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist eine ruhige Gegend mit absolut betörender Aussicht. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man mit einem Auto einen schönen historischen Ort (Castellabate) mit kleinen Gaststätten und engen Gassen, der besonders am Abend eine eigene Magie ausstrahlt. Die Strände sind nur mit einem Auto erreichbar, aber prima zum Baden geeignet. Man sollte beachten, dass die Straße zur Ferienwohnung kurvig, schmal und nicht für tiefer gelegte Autos geeignet ist. Die Vermieter waren mit ihren Insidertipps immer hilfreich.
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne und erholsame Zeit!

Beautifull appartment
We had a great experience at the house of Gisela. The location is brilliant because of the wonderfull view but also the green and quiteness. Everything about the house is good; it is decorated with taste and everything is new and clean. I would highly recommend !

Übertroffene Erwartung
Der Aufenthalt in der Casa Luce ist ein Erlebnis der besonderen Art: Ein unverstellter Blick von der Höhe des Hanges über Santa Maria di Castellabate auf das Meer, Capri, Ischia und die gegenüber liegende Amalfitana, eine schattige Terrasse mit großem Tisch und verschiedenen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten, eine überaus geschmackvolle und komplette Ausstattung des Hauses, die keine Wünsche offen lässt, und die für uns eine vertraute Ästhetik ausstrahlte, die ein spontanes Wohlgefühl erzeugte. Im Haus bleibt es angenehm kühl, auch wenn die Außentemperaturen hoch sind, und der Mückenschutz vor den großen Fenstern und Türen hält unerbetene Gäste fern.
Wir hatten zudem das Privileg, unsere überaus sympathischen Gastgeber Gisela und Bernd in freundschaftlicher Begegnung kennen- und schätzen zu lernen - eine „Zugabe“ von besonderem Wert!
Auf dem schön angelegten Grundstück blühen zahlreiche Rosen, wachsen Aprikosen, Oleander, Agaven und Oliven und duften verschiedene Kräuter, die wir für die Küche nutzen durften.
Alles in allem: Ein Paradies, das wir für eine Woche genießen durften und das unsere Vorstellungskraft übertroffen hat! Der Cilento lohnt eine Reise, diese Unterkunft war die Steigerung!

Luftige Weite, sensationelle Sicht, sehr gepflegtes Haus mit Garten: Ein wunderschönes Feriendomizil
Schon vor der Abreise gab's viel Unterstützung und Informationen von Gisela Birkenthal. Der Check-in ist gut organisiert: Da wir das Haus nicht auf Anhieb finden konnten (unser Fehler: Google Maps kann in Italien nicht so viel, also lieber auf die persönliche Anfahrtsbeschreibung achten), holte uns Rosa unten im Dorf ab. Bei der Ankunft empfing uns der Duft der vielen Rosen, die an der Terrasse stehen. Die großzügige Terrasse ist clever überdacht, sodass man den ganzen Tag über auch Kühle und Schatten haben kann - das war bereits im Mai ein Muss, obwohl es am Haus schon spürbar kühler ist als unten im Dorf.
Die Räume sind sehr schön eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts, sogar eine kleine Bibliothek ist vorhanden inkl. Reise- und Wanderführer. Durch die Gemälde und Holzschnitte von Gisela Birkenthal, die in den Räumen hängen, hat das Ganze auch einen persönlichen und liebevollen Touch. Sehr hilfreich auch die Fliegengitter, die fast überall angebracht sind und auch wirklich dicht halten: Keine sirrenden Mücken, wenn man schlafen will, herrlich. Uns hat überhaupt sehr gut gefallen, wie durchdacht und gepflegt das ganze Anwesen ist, inklusive Garten. Gleichzeitig wirkt es irgendwie unangestrengt, also genau richtig :-)
Anfangs hatten wir viel Respekt vor der recht schmalen Serpentinenstraße, über die das Haus von Santa Maria di C. aus und weiter dann auch das Bergdorf Castellabate zu erreichen sind. Nach einigen Tagen hatten wir's dann aber drauf und fuhren täglich zum Strand runter nach Santa Maria di C.: Große und kleine Sandstrände, direkt vor dem Dorf oder links und rechts davon, mit einigen guten Standrestaurants und -bars. Santa Maria di C. ist ein lebendiger Ort, wo man gut einkaufen kann oder einfach gern den Corso und die lange, ziemlich neue Standpromenade entlang bummelt. Sehr gemütlich, sehr italienisch!
Alles in allem hatten wir einen traumhaften, sehr entspannten Urlaub - mit der besten Unterkunft, die man sich wünschen kann, von sehr sympathischen und engagierten Vermietern. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
