Weā€™ve been touring Italy for two weeks now and the Belvedere San Leonino is by far my favorite of all the wonderful hotels weā€™ve stayed. Absolutely charming rooms, sprawling countryside grounds and expansive views, friendly staff, and a nice restaurant for dinner. I was hoping the tasting room was on site, but even better, itā€™s inside the wall of Castellina in Chianti ā€” you donā€™t want to miss a tasting there! If I find my way back to Italy in the future, I will definitely return to Belvedere! Grazie Mille!

First of all, the location, the staff and the food were all top notch! I thought it would be the quietest place on earth to get a good night of sleep after the craziness of Rome. Unfortunately there were some dogs barking all night in the field in front of our room and I didnā€™t get any sleep. Bring ear plugs if you stay there.

This hotel is a paradise for tranquility and peace. Located in an extremely beautiful area with surrounding views of the Tuscan wineries this beautiful, traditional and super clean hotel is everything one needs if they want to detach from the world. Congratulations especially to the cleaning ladies and the people who keep the grounds so pristine. This small hotel was lovely. The location is remote, but itā€™s a perfect base for traveling all around this part of Tuscany. The breakfast was wonderful -well worth the extra charge. We had dinner at the property one evening.The setting is beautiful and the food was excellent. The front desk staff was very helpful with anything we needed. I would come here again.

Heaven in Tuscany
Oh wow, perfect vacation and a real Tuscany atmosphere, the hotel is a magical old yet perfectly renovated property, the room was amazingly clean and equipped with everything we needed, the pool was open until 8pm and itā€™s never crowded, very peaceful area, almost like a fantasy movie, breakfast was great, especially the cheese , local pastries and coffee , the staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful, but the real deal was DINNER , I cannot say enough about the food and wine they make, everything is fresh and cooked to perfection, we had dinner there every night, you can even see the sunset while eating, BEAUTIFUL !! We highly recommend this hotel , thank you a million times for a perfect vacation šŸ™
