VILLA DESCRIPTION

My hillside villa is situated in a traditional Italian countryside setting. It is located in front of the Adriatic Sea, which is in Castro, Southern Italy. Castro is an ancient Fortress of the Aragonese Domain. The natural seashore is a sculptured masterpiece of Mother Nature’s creativity.

This airconditioned villa can accommodate six people comfortably. It is a fully furnished two-bedroom villa, one with a queen size-bed and the other with a double bed. There is one modern bathroom, all linens, towels and blankets are included. The sumptuously lighted living room area is comfortably furnished with a double bed sofa couch. The kitchen area is fully equipped with dishes, utensils and pots necessary for cooking. The villa has a washing machine and laundry can be hung on the clothes lines located on the terrace. The terrace is accessible by staircase. There is also an outside shower for convenient use after coming back from beach. The sunny terrace, is equipped with deckchairs, table and seats and is very big and comfortable. The view from the terrace is breathtaking as well as comfortable for sunning and entertaining and totally relaxing. Take full advantage of the view of the sea while enjoying an evening glass of wine or cocktail or a special meal with your family, friends or alone. It must be stated that the Villa is not handicapped accessible. There are two main entrances, one from the front and one from the rear.

Tutto come descritto dall'Host...ovviamente le bellezze del Salento sono innegabili ma quando in più, hai la fortuna di incontrare una persona splendida, disponibile e ineguagliabile come il Sig Filippo...allora vuol dire che sei proprio fortunato. È raro trovare una persona che pur non conoscendoti, ti faccia sentire..."di famiglia " ..ancora prima del tuo arrivo. La casa in cui abbiamo soggiornato è molto comoda ed accogliente e in più è facilmente collegata ai posti di maggior interesse turistico. Grazie ancora per l'ospitalità.

Lors de notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par la soeur de Filippo qui a été à l'écoute de nos questions. Pour des raisons professionnelles Filippo était absent. Nous avons eu un problème avec la bouteille de gaz. La soeur de Filippo a réglé le problème extrêmement rapidement. La résidence est à l'écart du centre ville de CASTRO. elle est très bien située à quelques minutes à pied des divers commerces et surtout des plages (Port / Acquaviva = Exceptionnement belle). Nous avons passé un agréable séjour calme et reposant. Nous avons pu visiter les environs; Nous garderons un bon souvenir de notre passage à CASTRO. Nous recommandons à d'autres éventuels vacanciers de séjourner dans la résidence de Filippo.

Super séjour chez Filippo
Fillipo est un hôte très accueillant, plein d'humour toujours prêt à vous donner des conseils pour faciliter votre séjour et visiter la région. Le plus de cette location est la terrasse avec vue sur mer et la ville de Catro...On ne s'en lasse pas. Accès à la mer a environ 50m et emplacement idéal pour découvrir la region du Salento avec ses villes et ses plages. Location à recommender sans hésitation.

Nice apartment, amazing terrace, warm welcome, close to the beach. Filippo recommended us a lot of great places in the region. We had a problem because the water was not working from time to time. But he was always reachable and tried to help us as fast as possible. We enjoyed our stay!

Das Highlight der Wohnung ist die große Dachterrasse mit fantastischem Meerblick. Kleine, jedenfalls in der Vorsaison sehr ruhige Wohnung, rustikal eingerichtet, mit allem was notwendig ist. Zum Meer sind es nur 50 Meter. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und bei Problemen jederzeit erreichbar. Castro ist unproblematisch zu Fuß zu erreichen, ein Auto ist allerdings von Vorteil. Als Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die wunderschönen Barockstädte in der Umgebung ist Castro ideal. Santa Maria di Leuca, Lecce, Gallipoli, Ortanto sind schnell zu erreichen. Auch Tagesausflüge in die Murgia sind unproblematisch machbar. Im Salento ist von Massentourismus (noch) nichts zu spüren, auch wenn man selbstverständlich auch auf Touristen trifft. Apulien ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.
