The minimalist check in area does not prepare you for the stunning, museum quality guest rooms, full of original antiques like a crystal chandelier and baroque moldings, with views of the central cathedral and city square. Bath products of very high quality. Staff very helpful.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. Perfect location - walking distance to restaurants, shopping and all the main attractions of Catania. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Marble floors and a comfortable bed. Inside this ancient building is a very sleek and modern interior. The staff could not be more welcoming. The staff was very helpful. You are on a quiet street steps away from Palazzo Marletta. If I return to Catania I will stay here.

Amazing hotel with history in great location
Before leaving from the US, we would have rated this hotel 5 STARS!! Renato, Serena, Simona and the rest of the staff were amazing and answered our questions minutes after sending an email. They helped with restaurant reservations, recommended sites to visit, where to purchase a SIM card, delivery of an item we ordered, driver pickup from the airport, parking our rental car in a safe location the night before departure and coordinating our car delivery morning of departure. The hotel has so much history and it was explained upon arrival. Location is perfect!
