Quiet, comfortable, and great for family
The house is tucked back in a wooded lot with a wonderful large back deck. It has an open floor plan with nice windows with lots of natural light. It is a quiet neighborhood with a lake within walking distance. It was so comfortable and our family enjoyed the time we had together.

This was a wonderful home to be able to enjoy our visit with our soldier. We didn’t have any issues with the home. The only thing that was odd was that the master bedroom didn’t have any curtains/shades to the deck. If there were people on the deck there is no real privacy. Some updates may need to be done in the bathrooms and with the flooring in the entryway/kitchen/dining area (my mother is not the steadiest on her feet), but those definitely weren’t deal breakers for us to be together. I messaged the owners a couple of times, and they were always quick to respond. Would recommend this house to those not wanting to be in downtown Columbus, but still close enough to go to dinner.

Quiet Retreat
Quiet retreat located on a spacious, wooded piece of property tucked away for privacy. The house had a good entertainment space for a large group of people/family. Large windows allow a lot of natural light and sunshine and frame the outside nature beautifully. Huge TV for entertainment/movies, a few games & books. Kitchen was stocked with mostly everything needed. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Nice washers and dryers to do some laundry. plenty of seating between the two tables (one round and one long). Master suite is sectioned off from the other part of the house and away from the other 3 rooms which is nice. i would think about adding some curtains in the Master bedroom that can be open during day and drawn closed at night- there is a reflection from 2nd bathroom shared by the 3 bedrooms... when the bathroom door is open, from the masterbed you can see everything going on... Also if people are hanging out on the deck, they can see directly into the room. House could use some updates in bathrooms and kitchen, but has everything need for stay. We had a few issues at check in with the door code, but the owners made it more than right and were very apologetic. Thank you for the lovely home, I bet it is gorgeous in the Spring and Fall...

Good location, nice size, dirty and moldy
We had two combined families (9 total) stay while visiting family who lives close. Great size kitchen/dining and living room area for all us to play games, eat, and gather. Biggest complaint is why am I paying a cleaning fee? We've stayed in several VRBOs and this was the dirtiest of all time. Mold in the master shower, bugs on floor, rusted/broken door stops, vents full of dust (literally clumps blowing out in ALL of them), mold in coffee pot, leaky bathtub. We had to do a load of towels and wash dishes before we left. Owner was very responsive to issues but (a) we don't want maintenance people in while we are there for short time and (b) why charge if you aren't doing anything more than washing bedding and (c) these things have been there a long time--why weren't they addressed before? I know we left it far cleaner than we arrived. If you have allergies, don't stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The subdivision is beautiful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing family vacation. The house had all the essentials that we needed. Communication with Nathan was great. Would definitely stay here again.

This home and host was exactly what our family needed as we celebrated our Soldiers Graduation !! Host was very accommodating to our request and the home with its tranquil wooded setting was what my son needed to recharge the batteries for the next phase of his training. We will definetly stay at this property in the future.

Family of 8 adults attended Army ceremony at Ft. Moore.
The house was clean and kitchen was well-stocked. Large dining table and den made eating together and visiting very enjoyable. Back deck overlooking woods was beautiful! Occasionally we had difficulty getting hot water in guest bathroom so we rotated taking showers in master bathroom and guest at different times. Overall a we had a wonderful experience.

Family Time
We were in town for Turning Blue / AIT graduation. All the family gathered...12 Total. THIS house was AWESOME with Livingroom gathering tv watching game playing comfy couches plenty of seating, kitchen - prep / cooking/ eating great supplies, enough space, a Grill! looked brand new with plenty of propane. Beds supper comfy, the rooms are HUGE! for us one bedroom held our daughter/husband and their "3!"port-a-cribs with plenty of floor space to walk all around the room NOT tripping, or using a balance beam to get from the bed to door, huge I say, huge! Three showers going with enough hot water and great pressure. With our size family of course we need a laundry room... again this house was set for us. Large machine plenty of supplies. Car port - perfect, fits 2 cars with walking room. Plenty of garbage cans. The yard and back deck were perfect for us the weather was great to be outside neighborhood was a nice place to walk, minimal traffic. pleasant neighbors chatting with us on our walk. The host family are great. supper fast easy to get a hold if we needed info about anything. Friendly! Will definitely stay again if back in town with all the family.

It's gorgeous, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful lay out, beautiful scenic area, very safe feeling. Far enough from all the hussel to actually relax and enjoy yourselves but close enough to have places to go and things to do. We are definitely going to be using this place again.

Ft.Moore Graduation Stay
Accommodations were adequate. Home wasn’t overly clean. There was a musty/mildew smell inside the home and we also found several small scorpions in the bathroom and entryway. Home was in a wooded area, so the insects are understandable. We had several people with allergies that struggled during our stay due to the musty smell. Not mentioned, there is a pool, tennis court, and playground within the neighborhood, but not available to temporary guests. On a positive note, the kitchen was well stocked and the homeowners left containers of microwave popcorn, Coca-Cola and wine for us…I thought this was a thoughtful gesture. There was also plenty of space for our large group to relax and unwind. Can’t give 5 stars due to the home being well-used, and the cleanliness. I had to reach out for check in instructions and no check out instructions were given, we just did the things suggested in previous vrbo bookings.

Spacious home in Cataula
Enjoyed a long weekend with family in this spacious home. The location was lovely in a quiet upscale neighborhood of Cataula. We had plenty of space for our family of 5 adults and 1 teen. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked with plenty of cookware and allowed multiple people to prepare food at once. We enjoyed grilling meals on the outdoor grill and playing games and eating meals at the spacious dinner table. We had a few issues with housekeeping as there were several dirty towels and one bed with multiple dirty linens. However we were able to launder bed linens and towels in the home with the washer/ dryer. This house is listed as pet free which is one of the main reasons we chose this property, however the two pet allergic family members did have some allergy issues here requiring medication. There have been cats / dogs in this home recently. My only recommendations here would be adding curtains to the master bedroom as the morning sunlight is bright and it feels awkward to have no window coverings in a bedroom. I would also recommend having additional towels and washcloths so that there are enough for multiple days. We stay in VRBOs regularly and this was overall a great property I would recommend again.

We came in for our son's turning green ceremony at Fort Moore. This property was perfect for our stay. Our soldier was able to relax and unwind. The property is absolutely beautiful with plenty of room for our party of 6. Would definitely stay here again.

Graduation gathering perfection
Great house for attending military graduation! Easy to get to the base and close to the Columbus amenities as needed. Plenty of space for everyone to be together and a big kitchen for cooking. There is a huge fridge, Nice grill and double ovens which made our BBQ a success. Family walks in the neighborhood made our trip complete:)

Nice roomy home!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is very roomy and spacious. It was easy to get in and out. We had a little problem and it was taken care of immediately, so that was good. The only thing that I see for improvement on this property is there’s no drapes or shades in the master bedroom. Other than that it was a nice stay. If I was in the Columbus area again, I would definitely reach out to this property owner again.

Overall the property was great - lots of room to spread out. All equipment, etc was there that we needed to cook, clean and enjoy. We are all over 80 and the accessibility was easy to maneuver around. Had a great time as we always do and may perhaps return in the future.

Fantastic family trip
This house was perfect for our family vacation. It's tucked back away from the street in the woods, with a creek running through the lot. It feels so secluded and peaceful. Our kids had a wonderful time exploring the lot and walking to the neighborhood lake. The house is very spacious, with a great floor plan, allowing everyone privacy. The kitchen was well stocked, and the household linens were lovely. We truly treasured our time in your home!
