We spent 10 days in the area and stayed at Jane's in Caunettes-en-Val
The house is spacious with a very large bedroom space on the upper floor. There is more than enough space to store clothes and other things.
I would especially like to mention the big and comfortable bed!
From the bedroom you have the option to leave the house though the back door and the little garden space, leading directly to the path along the neighbour's vineyards.
You can spend hours reading or walking there.
On the bottom floor there is a big kitchen-dining room space with a large table and a nice kitchen. You'll find everything you need. Kettle, toaster, french coffee maker, plates, pots, pans, etc.
The adjacent living room has a sofa and two comfy chairs.
There is a little stereo with CDs (some of them won't work well, so you might want to bring your own).
There's no tv and no wifi, as stated in the description of the house.
We did have pretty good data connection with our phones, though.
You will need a car to get to and from the house.
And the stairs connecting the bottom and top floors are not for children or arthritic people (as Jane mentions in the description). So having to go to the bathroom half asleep at night might be a little adventurous :-) (the bathroom is downstairs).
The neighbours are very friendly, and the baker with his car comes every morning from Tuesday to Saturday, with delicious Baguettes and Croissants.
I can really recommend this place if you are looking to get away to quiet and friendly rural France.
