This beautifully restored two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage, built circa 1921, features high ceilings, beadboard walls, and original wood plank floors. The cottage can accommodate a maximum of four guests and offers free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. All linens are provided, and the kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs.

The Allen Faircloth house is located in the heart of the village, making it easy to walk to all the restaurants, gift shops, city park beach, marina, and churches. Whether you're looking for a delicious seafood dinner or a day at the beach, everything is just steps away. You'll also be able to enjoy the charming atmosphere of Cedar Key, with its ancient live oaks and beautiful sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.

The cottage has two porches, both with comfortable seating. The front porch overlooks First Street and its ancient live oaks, making it the perfect spot to relax and people-watch. The back porch is private and has a charcoal grill, making it perfect for outdoor dining or enjoying a quiet evening.

Parking for two vehicles and one boat trailer is provided, making it easy to bring your own boat and explore the local waterways. Cedar Key is known for its fishing and boating, so don't miss the opportunity to get out on the water and experience the beauty of the area.

In addition to its natural beauty, Cedar Key offers a variety of dining and sightseeing options. For seafood lovers, try Steamers Clam Bar & Grill or The Island Hotel & Restaurant. For breakfast, head to 1842 Daily Grind & Mercantile or the 2nd St Cafe for a delicious cup of coffee and a pastry. If you're looking for a cocktail look no further than Bonish Studio just down the street.

*We have a pack & play available, if you would like to use it during your stay please let us know at least at the time of booking.

*If you are visiting the island to boat and/or fish we recommend you check out the NOAA charts. Cedar Key is surrounded by shallow waters and this can make boating/fishing during low and changing tides difficult or impossible depending on where you are and where you want to go. You can search NOAA chart 11408 online to check the water depth and search NOAA tide predictions at Cedar Key FL for tide information.

-Do not trespass on other people's property, this includes docks and driveways
-Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
-Parties and/or events are not allowed
-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
-Please do your dishes.
-No illegal substances allowed on premises.
