Although I’d prepaid for my stay, upon arrival there was an extended check in process caused by what seemed to be a lack of communication between Expedia and La Quinta. There was then a large bug on the desk in our first room, causing us to request a new one. Our second room reeked of cigar smoke, so we had to move to a third room. The following day, we requested that room service come while we were out so we’d have fresh towels upon returning, and were told it would be taken care of. We came back seven hours later to find that room service had not come and wouldn’t be able to until the following morning. The staff were very nice and accommodating about everything, including giving us an extra hour to check out to accommodate us having to wait for fresh towels to shower. There were just a lot of parts that seemed to make our trip a little more complicated than necessary. Not my worst experience in a hotel, but definitely not my favorite overall.
