Stayed here for one night, when making a stop in our drive north from Florida and must say it was a great choice. The room was very comfortable, clean and loved the high ceilings. The hotel itself was very nice with superb service- everyone we interacted with was very polite and helpful. There is a Harris Teeter directly across which made it convenient to do a quick snack and beverage run. A huge plus was the noon check out and the convenient, walkable distance to great dining/brunch options. Look forward to coming again.

Prepaid booking but upon arrival, they tried to charge me for the entire balance again (not including the expected incidentals). Did not give me a room key, so when I couldn’t get into the room, I had to go back downstairs and ask for a key. The gentleman questioned me, saying he gave me a key. I assured him he did not. The following day, the room keys wouldn’t work. We playfully questioned if the hotel was haunted, to which the staff said, “yes, people say their items have moved to the other side of the room at night.” They also said, “that’s the price you pay for staying in Charleston.” Needless to say, we did an early check out and didn’t stay the second (paid for) night.

Short and sweet!
A quick turnaround, in and out of CHS, visiting the International African American Museum. The team was very accommodating, super friendly and helpful. Thank you! The location is very convenient and everything I wanted was within a 10-15 minute walking distance. I didn’t get to stay long enough to enjoy all the amenities of the Inn, but will definitely be back for a longer stay, the next time I’m in Charleston.
