Rude front desk
The girl at the front desk was about as rude as they come. She seemed angry to be there and like it was a huge inconvenience she had to check me in. I thought maybe it was just me but observed similar behavior in her interactions with other customers. There are plenty of hotels in Charleston, I'd recommend going to one that appreciates customers.

The receptionist was not very nice, acted annoyed with us and another family. Doors were taped shut, given a room that was already occupied. Lights didn’t work. I definitely did not feel safe having my family there. If it weren’t for us being exhausted from driving, we would have continued our drive.

The building was in terrible shape but they were working on improving it. Our room was very clean and in good shape. The big problem was that the room was advertised as accessible and it was too small to maneuver even a walker. We had to keep it in the bathroom. There was no place for luggage or a chair. The bed was too high requiring a step stool for my 97 yr old dad to get into bed. It was a difficult night for us both.

I believe the cleaning staff made the room as clean as possible. The tub and bathroom area were not maintained well. Tub was gross but seemed like the staff cleaned as well as possible. Beds were clean but not very comfortable.

Im overall happy with the stay, very affordable and just what i was looking for. The sheets were a little stained and someone left their glasses under the sheets so idk how long it had been since they'd been cleaned but they were fine other than that
