I stayed in Charleston to sleep before heading to NC. I donā€™t like to drive the mountains when Iā€™m tired from a long drive seeing family. The staff at this location were awesome! Laid back but very attentive and friendly, like they had known me for years! Very welcoming!

No hot water
I had a good stay but they need to fix the hot water problem. The water did not very hot. First morning, to take shower I had no hot water but my shower by 9:00am. Other days the water not warm. The staff was good about it. They had other customers was complaining about the water too.

At check in we did not get second key and then the key didn't work at room. Room was dated and not clean and smelled like mold. Bathroom was not clean with mold in shower and beer spill stains on night stand.

This hotel wasnā€™t very good. I had no hot water in the shower. The breakfast was just absolutely awful. There was no light roast coffeeā€¦ There was no wafflesā€¦ not even any batterā€¦what was there wasnā€™t very good at all. Almost inedible. I settled for a bagel which wasnā€™t real fresh. The cleanliness wasnā€™t very clean. This is the 3rd Hilton type hotel I have stayed in and I probably wonā€™t stay in another ever.

No counter space or convenient area for suitcases in the room. Had to use the floor. Very little counter space in bathroom. No prior notice was given that our room was right next to the pool. Since we were just staying overnight, felt no need to request a room change.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is right off the highway, which made it easy to find. However, the surrounding area has some windy, one-way roads that can be a bit confusing, and we ended up on the wrong side at one point. The hotel is situated next to a river, which adds a nice touch to the scenery. However, the highway structure in the area seems to attract a number of homeless individuals, who can be seen in various corners nearby. On a positive note, the room and building were greatā€”clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere for our stay. The highlight of our visit was definitely the staff. They were incredibly friendly, always wearing smiles and making us feel welcome. Their professionalism and courtesy truly stood out, and they even extended their hospitality to our furry friend by providing a little pet bag filled with treats and amenities. That was a wonderful touch! Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its comfortable accommodations and outstanding staff.
