I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked because of proximity to Charleston Place (where I had a meeting) and loved this hotel. From the nice room with drinks in the fridge and full-sized toiletries (not attached to the walls), the comfy robes and the morning breakfast basket - every aspect of my stay was just lovely. I come to town every year and I will hopefully be able to book this hotel again.

The front desk staff seemed inexperienced and unprepared to handle basic customer service needs. They were unable to provide solutions for any of the issues we faced during our stay, and when asked questions about Charlestonā€”a relatively small cityā€”they had no helpful information. It's essential that hotel staff, especially those at the front desk who represent the establishment, are knowledgeable, accommodating, and proactive in ensuring guests have a pleasant stay. Our room was not adequately cleaned, with noticeable stains on the walls and carpet, and hair from previous guests in the bathroom. The TV didn't work throughout our stay, despite staff checking it on two consecutive days without resolving the issue. Once again, the front desk was not helpful when approached about this problem. The pool, located on the roof, is more of a small soaking tub rather than a swimming pool, which may be disappointing if you were expecting to swim. Additionally, the bed was uncomfortable. Overall, the most disappointing aspect was the lack of professionalism and poor customer service.

Charleston Crew Getaway
RH was absolutely PERFECT! We had 5 couples on this getaway and we all had a fabulous experience at RH. The staff, rooms, housekeeping and rooftop dining staff were all amazing! The food and drink at the rooftop were also excellent! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

This was one of the best hotels Iā€™ve stayed at! It was centrally located in the heart of historic Charleston next to plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and a Target only a few minutes away by foot. My boyfriend and I stayed for his birthday during LDW and we both enjoyed the stay. The hotel is connected to a coffee shop and has a rooftop bar and restaurant, as well as a rooftop pool and more! We stayed in the Studio style room and the space was great for the two of us with a living room area, a kitchen stocked with dishes, silverware, complimentary drinks and snacks, and some treats and beverages for purchase. We also were surprised by the beautiful bathroom with robes and slippers for us. Lavish and affordable, Iā€™m delighted with the selection and it made for a great birthday surprise. Breakfast in the morning was great as well, it was left at the door in a picnic basket with egg bites, croissants, yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit. The Restoration was a beautiful experience and I am so happy everything worked out well. The only thing to note about this property is that valet is an option for those who would like to utilize it at $38 a day (current rate), but self-parking is also an option and itā€™s a parking garage a block away. The walk was short, maybe 2 or 3 minutes tops, but just something to note if someone in your party is handicapped and you donā€™t want to invest in the valet option. Otherwise, it was a great spot and Iā€™m glad we had a great trip!
