Property was beautiful, room was perfect just wish it came with a refrigerator and microwave only reason I canā€™t give 5 stars. Restaurant attached had really great food. Only other complaint is it can be loud during nights itā€™s open until midnight could hear the music loud from my room. Other than that i had a great stay and appreciate the room service very much

Has been one of our favorite places to stay. However the actual hotel basic functions have suffered a s the management and staff pay more and more attention to the bars, restaurant, and entertainment space. Itā€™s become a very popular bar. The hotel rooms now seem to be a second property. We had major AC problems. And the rooms remain dark, in need of several more lamps, including a desk lamp for the desk. Appears to be a fair amount of staff turnover as well. We saw now familiar faces this time and weā€™ve stayed there 8-10 times since they opened.

The Ryder Hotel was amazing! The staff was delightful! The pool was great and the outdoor area was awesome, with the huge fireplace and fabulous outdoor bar. Felt like we were in a boutique resort. The decor was beach boho chic, I wanted everything off the wall! The coffee shop and The Little Palm restaurant in the hotel were both wonderful. I have nothing bad to say, we will definitely be back!!

If you happened to be over 40, forget this hotel. Our room faced a wall, no toiletries, robes, Qtips, etc. When we called to see if they provided these things, they said no to everything. They called back and addressed my husband with ā€œheyā€ do you still want robes? I guess they found some eventually. When I mentioned that we paid close to $500 for this room, and they were posting the same room for $100 less, no adjustment was offered. Overall the place was lacking in most departments. Think twice before booking.

We had a nice stay. Did not realize there was a $35 fee daily for amenities I guess we should have used those amenities more. They need to hand out little cards saying that you get $10 off of breakfast because we did forget when you come in Traveling and they rattle off a bunch of stuff we did not remember the $10 breakfast per room so we wasted that $30. $50 day parking. Nice pool to relax by, coffee shop. $8 muffin. I guess it is Charleston though everything is probably a little bit overpriced.

Very nice stay. We enjoyed everything this hotel had to offer. Only one issue with noise because our room was facing the courtyard. The bar was playing music that was very audible when trying to sleep.

The Ryder is a fantastic hotel! The location is perfect - walkable to many things in Charleston. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the sitting area off the pool is serene, the pool is such a wonderful place to relax and have a cocktail or breakfast, the food is delicious, and the rooms are comfortable. One unique feature is the shop where bikes, coolers, cameras, etc are for guest use! Definitely aplace to stay in Charleston and we will be back!

Wow, what a great hotel!! Very comfortable room, great rooftop restaurant & bar, great swimming pool, and great staff. Awesome location, with tons of nearby shops and restaurants. Very walkable. Will definitely stay here again!
