What a welcome. It was just nice. Polite employees who went above and beyond for sure. I mentioned wanting something and an employee who overheard me brought it to my room. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable. They have thought of just about everything. TV itself was excellent and the service had great channels. Not to mention you can watch your own Netflix or Prime or other streaming services. The pool patio and grill areas were immaculate. Breakfast was amazing. For a hotel to still do a hot free breakfast and have it be good is amazing. Feels like home with the service of a resort. Just excellent b

Great Stay
Very clean, great location, close to all places we visited. The mini kitchen was extremely convenient, breakfast was okay. Highly recommend The Glass Onion if you are looking for a close, great place to eat. Avoid Cook out, food was terrible. The only downside was we stayed on the first floor and the upstairs room was extremely loud, sounded like a herd of elephants jumping off the bed. Choose the top floor when given the choice!

This hotel was a dissapointment...I have stayed in several Marriott hotels in different states, and never being dissapointed...When we arrived, after 10 hrs driving, the room was not ready...It seems they were fixing things and front desk was not aware. Check in was easy and fast, the front desk was friendly and professional....Then we went to the room...elevator was not clean, then the hallway going to the room was warm...Once in the room, A/C was not working...thermostat dead... and the fridge was dead too.Went to the front desk and they gave us another room...No problems with the change..New room was ok...The main 2 things were the water stoper in the shower was broken and was left at the side of the tub, and the shower curtain liner was to short with stains...Breakfast next morning, was ok not great...Decided to buy things in grocery store close by and prepare breakfast in the room. Elevator down for one day.... The biggest dissapointment is, make sure you do not forget things when you leave.... A smart watch fell out between one bed and night stand, reported to the hotel, they told me that they would call back... We have not heard about them... The watch has tracking feature....from this hotel in Charleston West Ashley.. and location is in Columbia... interesting.... When we return to Charleston, this is not going to be our choice to stay..

It was alright , swimming pool was small. Room was not cleaned daily . Air conditioner was not working and had to get of fixed . So work was being done while we were on the room.

There wasn't enough parking. The parking lot was difficult to navigate. There was only two luggage carriers for the entire hotel. It was difficult to see the hotel and drives due to large bushes.

This was a very nice and comfortable room for our 4-night stay while visiting Charleston. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and a little different every day (the sausage gravy with biscuits was really good!). :) Internet TV was very much appreciated. WiFi worked great. We had some issues with our bathroom (loose toilet & shower head, door did not close well/quietly) and the bathroom entrance is right next to the bed so hard to not wake your partner when getting up in the night. Otherwise, would definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel was great and all the staff were friendly. The only issue was running out of toilet paper. We had to ask for it, room service didn't replenish it.

We came down for our first visit to Charleston. We stayed 4 days and chose this hotel because of the convenient price and location. Day 1 - very amicable and benevolent staff. Easy to park. We brought our dog and the property had plenty of dog stations around the property. We were on the top floor. Fairly clean room and bathroom. Unfortunately, the toilet was broken, it was "fixed", but only to end up flooding the bathroom early in the a.m. Day 2 - Staff understood the issue and instead of trying to "fix" it again, we were moved to a new room, on the first floor. More convenient. I immediately tried to take a shower, and the water spout (the tub spout, not the shower head) came off the wall from the water pressure. Staff new it would take too long to "fix" so we moved AGAIN to the room literally across from it. **Yep, we moved two times in less than 12 hours** Day 3 - Everything worked and was going smoothly, but then the door fob mechanism broke :( Yep, couldn't get in the room. And it was early in the a.m. so the maintenance crew wasn't present, yet. Staff were friendly and understanding through the entire experience. We were comp'd the pet fee ($60/ni) for two nights. Ehh, would've been nice to have had one of the nights refunded, or all 3 nights free of pet charges but I'll take what we got. I'd stay here again, though. It was just a series of flukes beyond our control. If the staff wasn't so understanding and compassionate, this review would be totally diff.!
