This property was very close to the concert venue so we were within walking distance. The valet parking process at check in was horrible. I think it was just the mass amount of people checking in at the same time but it was not good. The elevators were very slow and congested. We were on the 16th floor so the wait was long.

Not worth 700 dollars.
They came in right after we checked in and threw our shoes boxes away. We were trying to get ready for the concert that was pushed up. Right after getting in the hotel room. The fire alarm went off. We had to walk down 15 flight of stairs. Even though it wasnā€™t an emergency. Valet parking was 75 dollars. We paid over 700 dollars. It was not worth the price. Early check in was not an option. You couldnā€™t check in bags to go eat anywhere. Their restaurant and bar didnā€™t open to 4 pm. It was a high disappointment.

When we arrived at 5:30pm the elevators were not working and they did not have our room ready. We had to get changed for our concert in the bathroom with a ton of other people. Our room was not ready until almost 8:30pm. We had to check in at 11:30 when we came back from the concert. We had to use service elevator. Andā€¦when leaving it took over an hour to get our car from valet.

Poor experience at the Marriott.
We had an overall bad experience. We payed almost $1,000 for this room for 1 night. Our room was not ready on time for our check in. I also was charged a fee of $50 on top of the $943 price. They did not offer any breakfast and our room was very basic for the price. We also had to pay $72.38 to park the vehicle as they did not even offer free parking. I was highly disappointed in this hotel.

This was a good location for access to the football stadium and to the other locations I went to. I do not get a car so I walk where I can and I could walk every I needed to. And I felt safe at any time of day or night.

The ceiling outside of my room was in disarray. I know this is simply wear because the building is older but it is not a good look for people who are looking for a brand and not already loyal to it

The staff was great and super helpful. I arrived a few hours early and was able to check in right away. I was only in town for 1 night, so I will definitely make sure I stay at this Marriott the next time I'm in town for a longer stay.

Room was well appointed and clean. Climate control system was loud and never shut down or changed blowing speed once temp was reached. The room had a consistent vibration that randomly increased. Needless to say sleep was not restfull. The shower had a fixed head that me the option of standing at either end of the shower if i didn't want to get pounded in the face. The shower had very poor drainage and within a minute i was ankle deep in water. Parking was a nightmare sunce it is valet only once you pull into the hotel. It took 25 minutes just to get into the driveway of the hotel. The valets were busting thier butts, good on them, but there was no control in the driveway area of incoming and out going patrons. It took us 30 minutes just to get out of the drive when we left and it only because other patrons stopped incoming patrons from pulling into the driveway. Be prepared to wait a long time or find a publuc pay lot nearby and walk to hotel. Nightly fee for valet, total, was $68.09. Overall, not happy with Marriott and we left a day early.

Marriott City Center is a good place to stay in a great location. Front desk, bell services and valet were all excellent. Only had a single issue - a big cockroach in our bathroom!!!
