Okay stay
Check in was very informative Re: new Pet Policy that we should have reserved by phone so that we were put into a pet room. We were allowed to stay in the room they had selected. Our TV froze the last evening there- it never worked well and did not work well with the remote anyway. The air conditioner only cooled the room to 72 with the curtains closed.

The front desk staff was beyond amazing. I did not catch the names but I believe the lady was the general manager. I had my granddaughter with me and she came from behind and was singing nursery rhymes with her. The guy behind the desk joined in once they started doing baby shark. This was the best check-in I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. The hotel rooms were spotless, spacious, and very nice. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub.

Between my fiancé and I, we've stayed at hundreds of hotels cumulatively and I cannot remember ever encountering a nicer or more accommodating staff. The two ladies that checked us in greeted us with warm smiles and were extremely helpful and were very good natured people. Extremely satisfied with the visit!

Perfect family stay
We had a great time. The people were above and beyond friendly and helpful. The workers have a nice sense of pride in their work. Just a nice human experience. The rooms are huge. Lots of space. Breakfast was nice and well managed. The highlight for the kids was the pool and hot tub. Perfect temperature on both. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a pleasant property less than 45 minutes from Charlottesville that met our needs for an abbreviated stay away from the pricey weekend rates in the university city. The hotel lobby appeared freshly painted (yet spartan) and our third floor accessible suite was clean and inviting. We were greeted with a smile and exited with the same. It was better than we expected and to par based on the brand.

The property had a renovation that was not completed. Room was spacious,very clean and well appointed but was missing baseboard and a transition between carpeted area and tile made with blue painters tape. The staff were really friendly and helpful...a real plus for our stay.

Most friendly day staff I've ever seen
We came into town for a wedding. All of the day staff we interacted with were so kind and wonderful. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and they were very helpful if we had any questions. Check-in was quick and easy. The woman working in the dining room was an absolute joy, and kept the food area extremely clean. The woman working the desk early in the morning, however, not so nice. My husband came down to seek out some coffee, and she was extremely short with him. I came down later to ask about the pool, and she was short with me as well. We were glad to see the manager who relieved her was another kind, professional employee. Well done with putting the staff that are assets in the positions with the most frequent guest interactions. They really made our stay a wonderful experience.
