Hotel staff (reception, concierge and housekeeping) all excellent. Hotel location, cleanliness and decor all first rate. Unfortunately the restaurant staff werenā€™t quite so good, which let everyone else down, such a shame.

Good for a seaside break
This hotel is beautifully situated by the sea. The little town of Chatelaillon Plage is very attractive with lots of places to eat. (it's a bit far to walk from the hotel though). Rooms are comfortable but not very large. It is worth paying the extra for a sea view (rather than a car park one). Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of good quality food. The set menu in the restaurant was also very good, changing each day. There were no English channels on the TV. The toilet was separate to the bathroom which we found inconvenient. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the room but there were paper cups and no spoons. We went to the supermarket to buy 2 mugs and teaspoons.

DƩƧu par cet hƓtel, malgrƩ une belle dƩcoration
La dĆ©coration de l'hĆ“tel et de la chambre est trĆØs rĆ©ussie. Par contre, la chambre est petite et la literie de mauvaise qualitĆ©, ce qui est inacceptable dans un hĆ“tel 4 Ć©toiles. Il y avait des creux dans le matelas. Le personnel est sympathique, le spa est bien agrĆ©able. Dommage, qu'il n' y ait eu personne pour remettre du thĆ© et de l'eau dans la fontaine du spa le vendredi aprĆØs-midi de notre sĆ©jour (pour un hĆ“tel 4 Ć©toiles, Ƨa laisse un peu Ć  dĆ©sirer). Concernant les Petits dĆ©jeuners trĆØs chers, ils ne sont pas Ć  la hauteur non plus : pains au chocolat surgelĆ©s et vraiment pas terribles, oeufs brouillĆ©s trop liquide, bacon trop salĆ©. Par contre, les pĆ¢tisseries faites par un pĆ¢tissier partenaire Ć©taient excellentes. Pour rĆ©sumĆ©, mauvais rapport qualitĆ©-prix. On se rapproche plus d'un bon hĆ“tel 3 Ć©toiles que d'un 4 Ć©toiles.
