You'd be a goose to leave Chawang without taking a look at the other things on offer in South Thailand. South Thailand has rural landscapes and beaches. Commonly visited South Thailand visitor draws are the traditional villages. Popular things to do in this particular part of Thailand include rock climbing, hiking and shore fishing.

Another area is Khanom, which is 85 kilometres to the north of the middle of Chawang. Here, you'll find the Khanom Beach and Khao Wang Thong Cave. Hotel options in Khanom include the Tontarn Resort & Spa and Needa Rock Resort.

Before you say goodbye to South Thailand, ensure you experience some local sport. Find Ao Nang Krabi Boxing Stadium to the southwest of Chawang. The Pornthep Mansion and the Beach Terrace Hotel are both good options if you hope to get amongst it.

Situated 75 kilometres from Chawang is Krabi International Airport. Stay nearby at the Baansuan Rimnom Resort or the Palm Driving Range & Resort.

Supachai Inn

3 / 5
The proterty is OK. Not good. Not bad. Given the low price, I can't say much. The room was clean. The location is so-so. (But, to be fair, there isn't a "central" location in NST. So the hotel is as good as any.) As other reviewers have mentioned, the "breakfast" is cheap bread that you can toast. They provide 6 bright colors of sugar gel you can put on your toast. There were also some stale cookies. The place was fine - all things considered. Just nothing special.
