Better service needed
The hotel is mediocre. The rooms are fairly good size and bathrooms are spacious. But the maintenance of the hotel is horrible. I had to change rooms two times as the first room was stinking and the second room was very uncomfortable. The third room was fairly ok. Housekeeping was poorly managed with linens and towels thread bare and not so fresh. The wallpapers were peeling off and elevators were smelling. In room dining service was atrocious, as the wait staff was untrained, did not provide condiments and plates for soup bowls. The food was ok, but served poorly. Even the housekeeping did not provide amenities unless you asked for it. You only got some service if you tipped the waiters. The hotel management is worse. At the breakfast buffet the hotel staff were busy eating out of the buffet and there was no food for the hotel guests.
Since the hotel has international guests they should have staff that speak some English. Yet all they spoke was Tamil and was very rude to the guests. Even the guy at the front office.
A nice hotel that needs better management and service.
