Lovely property situated short drives away from Montepulciano and other villages. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away. Pool was nice and refreshing with beautiful views. Breakfast and dinner were great.

This is a great countryside cottage. The staff was so friendly. The dinner and breakfast was delicious. The staff was very accommodating! I would deff stay here again!

Friendly welcome with a glass of wine, owner keen to know our interests so he could offer advice. Helpfully printed maps and suggested places to stop on our walks. Excellent value 4 course dinner of local foods and you can have their own red wine and olive oil with it. Great breakfast. Bedroom clean and comfortable

Beautiful location, friendly, and helpful

Stefano was a great host, very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Excellent breakfasts using products produced on the farm. Fabulous view from the dining room. We will definitely return.

Pleasant stay in Chianciano

We had a spectacular view of Chianciano Vecchio from our terrace, as well as excellent dinner and wine. The staff was warm and helpful. Loved giving belly rubs to the dog and taking a walk through the fields and vineyards. Brilliant little stay.

Disapointing experience

We arrived at this winery and farm. Nice view of the historical center...this was the only nice thing. The owner Stefano was so rude , impatient . <Ask us if he could make diner but would not tell us what he would cook. We declined ...we offered to buy wine..he said we had to provide a time to buy wine. No educational explanation of how the winery or farm work. When we paid he said jokingly he was a bully....We agree and we speak italian...

Nice stay in Chianciano area

We stayed one night in Agriturismo La Pietriccia. The hotel, in italy it's called Alergio?, is facing the old town of Chianciano, with views of grape trees and olive trees. The pictures in the hotel ads are real. The hotel is run by a family, I guess. The staffs are very friendly and willing to help to show us around. There's a 'mini-zoo' in the garden, with rabbits, ducks, roosters and a pony etc... The room is clean, and spacious. Washroom is great and clean too. Breakfast is euru 6/person, but the quality and quantity is great. Dinner is euro 24 /person, but we didn't take that. Overall it's a very nice experience in sienna suburb area with views of old town. Highly recommended for travelers.

Enjoy splendid Italian food

Our stay in La Pietriccia was truely memorable. From the room window one has a nice view over an adjoining vineyard and a field of olive trees. Our highlight of the stay was a very tasty multiple-course dinner proposed and prepared by the chef of the house. The personnel of the hotel, a basically family-run business, was very friendly. You may even find an opportunity to improve your Italian by engaging in a nice chat with the Madre Della Casa. An excellent opportunity to enjoy Italian food and Italian people !!

Great escape to Tuscany!

If you are looking for a quiet stay in the country side look no further! A great central location to all the local vineyards and great old villages. Owner was very helpful in setting us up with a wine tour and villages to visit even though it was out of season. Go check out the Bagni San Fillippe hot springs too! If you want breakfast be sure to let the owner know days ahead of time as you may be the only ones staying there. Especially in the winter months. Also the place is not that easy to find in the dark with out a gps. Dirt roads from the A1. Easier to find from the Sienna side.

Amazing- great value for money.

We stayed with Stefan and company for 2 nights in late November the week before our wedding in Florence. I could not have asked for a better experience. The food served for breakfast and dinner was some of the best we had on the trip and the rooms are lovely. The point of an agritourismo is that it is a farm first and a place to stay second, but I never felt that way. We felt cared for at every moment. The town is a central spot from which to see the rest of southern Tuscany - and the staff helped us maximize our short time there with maps and suggestions. It is also a quick walk into town should you want to explore- about 15 minutes, but there are some hilly bits. In terms of value, this can not be beat.

Ottima struttura.

In questa struttura si gode a pieno la vacanza. A pochissimi minuti dal paese di Chianciano si gode di tanta tranquillità con vista stupenda del panorama naturale intorno. C'è tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno ed anche più. Cibo delizioso e tutto naturale di prodotti autoctoni. Il proprietario della struttura simpaticissimo e sempre disponibile a consigliare itinerari e luoghi della zona. Perfetto.
