I stayed in Thailand and Cambodia for 3 weeks, staying an average of 3 nights in each location. This was the worst location. I'd read that there were issues in finding this hotel, so I tried to prepare fully with maps on my phone, along with the address and the phone number. The tuk tuk driver tried to drop me off at the wrong location and had to call twice and we finally ended up asking someone close by for directions. IT'S IN AN ALLEY!
The front desk team consisted of several teenagers. It was run exactly how you'd expect it with teenagers in charge.
My "mattress" was BOX SPRINGS!! I had to ask for a blanket or mattress pad because I could feel each spring. They found me a twin mattress cover that I put on my queen bed (I was supposed to have king). Thankfully it was enough to make it tolerable.
I had to use one of my towels to fill in the LARGE gap under the door, which let in a lot of light and noise from the stairs and hallway. They did not replace any towels when they cleaned the room. when I asked for another towel they couldn't provide me with one.
The staff wasn't available until AFTER 8 AM!!! Another couple staying there had told them they needed to check out at 7:30, but no one was there. They were in danger of missing the train (trains were FULLY booked and probably wouldn't be able to get on another that day). When checking in, guests had to provide 300Baht security deposit for the key, so if you left early you forfeit
