Good stay at B2 Suthep Nightmarket. We ended up booking this hotel as our second hotel in Chiang Mai due to a change of plans and our main priority was to be in a different area, other than the old city and closer to some outdoor activities, with a pool. The pros: For the price we paid, this hotel was a good option. The beds were hard but comfortable and very clean, the site is quite nice with a big pool and the location is really nice, walking distance from the Night Market right by the Chiang Mai University (10mins), from the very hip Nimman neighborhood (30mins) and from Doi Suthep hikes. Lots of great cheap local and Asian food options nearby. The cons: The rooms would definitely need a good update and coat of fresh uniform paint on the walls. The walls had patches of different paint on the walls, the shower was quite run down and a bit moldy and the bathroom furniture was very outdated. There were ants on the bathroom floor. You could hear everything happening outside of your room due to poor soundproofing from the doors but we sleep with earplugs so that did not prevent us from getting a good night of sleep. Finally, the pool served its refreshing purpose but it was not very well kept, lots of leaves, broken ceramic on the steps and a cold jacuzzi. Overall, a good stay in a different area of Chiang Mai if you’re looking for a good but nice budget option.

The hotel was lovely, room spacious and we had the pool to ourselves. Unfortunately we had a change of travel plans so had to cut our stay short - but it was a great stay.

Nice staff, tropical setting, nice pool area. Room very spacious. Only issue was the small cafe restaurant was closed during the time of our stay and there was nothing else within a 10 minute walk. But overall was enjoyable and Id stay again.

very nice
A very nice intimate hotel 5 km from the city center. Bars and shops within walking distance. Quiet, clean hotel, with very nice staff, and an overall nice layout of the hotel. Spacious, comfortable room with a large bathroom. Safe, fridge, tv, nice extras like bathrobes or slippers. You can relax in your room or cool off in the small swimming pool. Nice greenery.

the facility is very nice, clean and safe. The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff is great. The hotel does not offer any type of ice other than the empty tray within the in-room refrigerator. The swimming pool is very nice and much to cold for me. In addition, there is no work out room or gym.

I loved my stay here. The staff were very helpful and assisted in scheduling our spa day, elephant tour as well as tiger tour. We ha a driver for the day. The room was amazing, and breakfast was perfect and included. Would stay here again in a heart beat

This is a quiet, clean and ovely hotel in a peaceful neighborhood- great staff, great courtyard for relaxing. One drawback is that it’s in an area unfamiliar to many taxi drivers — off the beaten path. With GPS and Grab taxi it can work.

A wonderful hidden gem
This hotel was beautiful! The central area of the hotel was garden oasis with a lovely pool. For under $150 per night, we got a gorgeous suite, with two bathrooms, a living room area, a master bedroom, and a loft over the living room with two beds for the kids. The rooms had dark wood flooring and attractive, unique furniture pieces, not the standard large-hotel stuff. Breakfast was included, and there was a complimentary fruit plate waiting in our room upon arrival, along with free soups, snacks, and beverages. It was a bit outside the city of Chiangmai, but there were plenty of small cafes and convenience stores within walking distance. All the attractions/experiences we booked picked us up at the hotel too, with the exception of one, but the taxi fare was only about 200 baht for a 30-minute ride. The staff were very helpful and considerate, and it was a pleasure staying here.

We were traveling during the annual lantern festival so this hotel was the result of our first 20 preferences being sold out. Hotels.com has the wrong address listed for this hotel which caused further issues. The hotel is clean and safe but there isn’t much around it, the WiFi is terrible, and we faced a lot of issues you wouldn’t expect at a hotel like this.

Loved this hotel
Beautiful boutique hotel off the beaten path. We were glad for the quiet. Beautiful pool, beautiful lofted room where the kids slept. Loved this little hide away!!
