This hotel is unique and a little funky. It was very clean , comfortable and staff was always kind and helpful. We would stay at The Acme Hotel again.

A review of my two day stay at ACME HOTEL
The room had two fridges but no coffee maker, which isn't a problem since I don't drink coffee but it is weird. My room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was my window looked directly into the car parking lot so I couldn't have my blinds up, lest I make eye contact with people going to their cars, which was a bit strange. They also have a cafe, bar, restaurant connected to the hotel, which I unfortunately was unable to avail myself of as I'd made other dining plans. Should I stay here again I will certainly try. All in all it was a great experience. The hotel is located right in the middle of the tourist area so there's plenty to do within walking distance. All of the staff was friendly and pleasant and very helpful with suggestions, etc. It was a great place to stay and I would stay here again.

A beautiful historic building with a unique vibe. The rooms are small, but they have been renovated with a modern flair to make the most of the available space. Will definitely stay here again!

Surprise mini fridge and microwave in the room! No complimentary coffee available or water or any snacks or room service available- not a big deal as so many food options nearby, but more FYI in case checking in late and expecting something. Cafe downstairs. Trader Joes a block away!!! View was not good as looked into a parking garage but we were out all day so didn’t matter. Blinds closed at night and it was SO quiet on a Saturday night so maybe that location helped with the noise. Street view might be louder. Booked two double beds and room was huge and had a desk and two lounge chairs. Would be great for families. Had a ceramic flying pig and a globe. Wood floors which I prefer. Funky music theme with fun decorations and records in the elevator. Location fantastic Shower great! Only one elevator worked so had to take 5 flights stairs with luggage because had a flight to catch - lower floor better if going in/out lots and don’t want to wait. Beds were fine - not too hard and fairly new. I have had much worse but if you are used to high end mattress and nice bedding you might be disappointed. This is not a luxury hotel and I don’t think they claim to be. I will definitely stay again! New Avec Restaurant about ten minutes walk - one of the best in the city.
