Great Hotel, but the siren’s are all night and heard loud and clear in the room if you get city view. Fire station is near by keep in mind.

Excellent hotel in River North
Aloft is a very nice hotel in an excellent location, walkable to everything in River North and beyond including restaurants. Out room was very comfortable and had amazing storage for all travel items. Public transportation including bus and "El" are close. Grocery one block away. The Beatrix restaurant within the hotel has very good menu. Friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended hotel.

We stay at the Aloft River North quite frequently and each time find the rooms very clean and comfortable and the staff exceedingly pleasant. This visit I found the elevator floors dirty. Understanding it’s winter and guests are likely to track salt and other debris, the elevators should be swept out more frequently. Recognizing all parking in Chicago is inconvenient, pulling into the narrow alley behind the hotel is a challenge with many cars vying for space. It would be nice if Marriot would work with the city to acquire the parking spots right in front of the hotel to be designated for Aloft check in and check out only.
