The lifts are too small and the wait time in the mornings is up to 20mins. This is because they have failed to repair the service lift for the cleaners etc so one of the lifts is out of use for customers leaving two and during breakfast hours the wait time for a lift was absolutely ridiculous. Many people were complaining. The seating in the dining room is ripped. I would never stay there again and would never recommend it to anyone..It so overpriced for what you get

For the quality of the hotel, a pool, and free breakfast there isn’t a better deal in Chicago that is near the mag mile. I have stayed here 4x and the hotel could use new carpet and other things but that is way it is still affordable

It’s falling apart. Great location, dump of a hotel. Literally the floors are slanted. The pool area is a disgusting and the gym equipment is almost all broken.

This hotel is in a great location, friendly staff, and good rooms but it has a major flaw: the hotel elevators are VERY SLOW. We were on the 21st floor and we decided to take the stairs after waiting more than 15 minutes. Another guest during the breakfast room told me that he waited for 20 minutes for the elevator, but he had no choice since he was on a higher floor and had a little girl with him. There are signs on the elevators explaining that the wait times can be slow, but this tells me that this is an issue that the hotel has decided to live with, rather than fixing the problem.

Rooms were quiet, clean and staff friendly. Do not stay higher than 15th floor because the elevators are few and far between. Lower floors can walk down to the 11th floor and catch other elevators.

Spacious rooms, decent location within the downtown area; however, the elevators are TERRIBLE, after trying to get an elevator for 20+ minutes for breakfast we finally ended up giving up and just walking down the stairs. Later we were told by a member of the staff that the only way to get a down elevator in anything under 30 minutes would be to take one up and then ride it back down.

This hotel is in the heart of the city. Be aware that the elevators are very busy. Depending on the time of day you can wait a while to get one. The staff are very helpful & friendly.

Elevator wait was the biggest struggle. We were on 16 and we decided to get in any elevator door going up or down. Waited 15 minutes more than once to go down. Staff was friendly.
