June trip
When we checked in there was a used band aid in the soap dish. Then when sitting at the desk I noticed a ketchup packet under the foot of the bed. Luckily we didn't step on it walking around the room. It was kind of odd that there is one desk top that acts as desk, TV stand and counter. There is another desk near the bed but there is only one desk chair. We ended up taking our chair to a friends room to have enough seating for four people. The hotel is directly across the street from Sears Tower (now Willis) The picture is from the roof of the Sears retail space which has grass on it. A Chicago incentive for building owners. The parking garage for the tower and hotel is in the left of the picture. $65 for unlimited in and out each day. All in all a nicer stay.

It was located a short 15 minute walk to/from the train station. It was a very long walk to anything else. It was confusing that the lobby elevators served two different hotels. (One had floors 8-12; the other, 2-6). I couldn’t get a receipt for my room payment that had to be given whenI checked in. When I checked out I couldn’t get a receipt showing the $75 “refundable deposit”.
