The history of tje property was pretty cool, wasn't as convenient to my work area as some other hotels, however i found the blue line traim close by which now makes it convenient for me to get to work

Hotel was clean and plenty of space. The day we arrived work was being done on the generator so no power. Was supposed to be until 3 pm but far exceeded that time past 7 pm. The next night more work was being done so no TV. That was essentially our entire trip. Would have been nice to get a notice before our trip.

J’ai réservé cet hôtel de part les très beaux avis mentionnés, et surtout par le ratio qualité prix qui me semblait très bon. Malheureusement, première déception lorsque j’ai vu qu’il n’y avait pas de bars à l’intérieur de l’hôtel alors qu’une des photos de l’hôtel est représenté par un magnifique bar. Ensuite, nous avons eu une coupure d’électricité et à aucun moment nous avons reçu une information par e-mail ou text pour nous prévenir. Et pour finir, la femme de chambre a actionné le réveil de la chambre ce qui nous a réveillé en pleine nuit. Déçu dans l’ensemble de la prestation, je m’attendais à beaucoup mieux.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, simple interior, and probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, at a hotel! No bar though. Also, the fitness center is on the sixth floor, and it was right above our room so we could hear people dropping weights when they were working out in the early morning and late night. Maybe move it to another part of the hotel? Definitely recommend Meli Café for breakfast or lunch!

In Chicago for the weekend. The walk from the L station (La Salle) to the hotel was shorter than the walk from the gate to the O Hare L station. Every staff member from check in to concierge to housekeeping to check out were helpful. I had room 1002 (corner) with a nice view down Dearborn St. Room had a lot of light during the day. Loved the bathroom (rain shower head, two sink counter, mirror with dim lighting). Location was great for walking to museums and local restaurants. The hotel itself doesn't have a bar but Meli Cafe is attached and has full bar (nice for Saturday brunch drinks). To bad they close at 3PM. Will be returning to Chicago in 2025 and will definitely stay here.

Good attempt to update an old building.
This hotel was nice enough. You can tell they tried to update an older building and for the most part they did a great job. The service was great!!! The people were great. The location was great, easy access to alot. The library, food, and a Starbucks right across the street. The only real complaint i had was the room smelled moldy. It was hot and humid even with the AC set at 66. Also, the valet is $60!! There is cheaper parking arounf the block so do your research.

Spent six days here for a business trip with multiple co-workers. Everyone enjoyed the hotel and the fact that it was smaller and quiet. Nice Tavern down the road made up for the fact that there was no onsite bar. Great location. Great and friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.

The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. I loved the gym, too. It had all of the stuff I needed! Of course the location could not be beat. I would definitely recommend Hotel Blake to anyone.
