The hotel is located walking distance from everything you need, it's in a safe area and surrounded by friendly people and staff. Me and my son stayed 5 nights, walked to all of our meals and the United Center for 2 events. I highly recommend The Hyatt House to anyone visiting Chicago!

Lady at front desk is NOT someone you want to be greeted by when checking into a hotel. I never review anything but felt the need to say this. Everything else was fine. They clean the rooms every other day.

Great space for a family
The size and setup of the room was great for our family of four. We were grateful for the extra space (kitchen, table, sofa) and utilized it all well. The free breakfast was pretty bad and the hotel bar is very limited on what is serves and doesn't open until 5pm. There was a party in the hallway on our floor one night that was very loud. We did call down eventually and were told that the people were being asked to leave, but it was an extremely disruptive evening with little sleep. I don't blame the hotel for that, it was just circumstances and we do appreciate they eventually got the people out.

We had a great weekend stay at this hotel. The view was beautiful. We walked and felt safe in the area and found it very clean. Great restaurants in walking distance. Dress for the weather 💨❄️

Place was pretty good the check-in process was not smooth. The amenities are limited and they have weird hours. I mostly stayed in my room everything else seemed restrictive for instance I could not talk in peace with my companion on the balcony for guests that it was designated for guests. even though I was a guest it was strange. I mostly booked for location and convenience.

The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to tons of restaurants and other attractions in West Loop. The room with the kitchenette was large and comfortable. The free breakfast ends pretty early and was so-so. Housekeeping also comes pretty early and only every other day, so we never got our room cleaned in the three days of our stay.
