If you absolutely need a furnished studio apartment for your stay in Chicago, this place isn't terrible. If you do not need that, I recommend you go somewhere else. The elevators took forever (5 min each way most of the time). Absolutely no flexibility for early check-in/late check-out unless you want to pay extra. If you want turn down service, you pay extra. Location is great and it was very quiet. Very strict rules around guests and quiet time.

My wife and I just spent a week at Sentral Michigan Avenue and we could not have been more pleased. The room was perfect for us and the staff we extremely helpful and courteous. I will definitely be staying her again!

Not for everyone
Was a good stay for visiting family. For the 1 bedroom with floor to ceiling windows a per night average of over $425 was expensive for the limited amenties in the room. We were there for 4 days and were given 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel each. The instructions were to throw the trash in the trash chute and place yoir dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run the dishwasher. I get it that its more cost effective to ask your hotel guest do the clean up, so perhaps this is not a condo hotel for everyone.

Views are Perfect
This hotel is part of an apartment building. It is across from a BEAUTIFUL park and the area is incredibly walkable. We used a parking lot near the hotel versus using valet. Although we didn't use the pool, hot tub, or fitness equipment - we did go check it all out. The pool is small, but it's a very pretty area! The unit we stayed in had a VERY squishy mattress. We also could not seem to get the unit very cool - but it was July in Chicago during a heatwave, so that is what it is. Our "room" was very large, had a stacked washer and dryer, a very nice bathroom (roomy), a living room with a great view, and on and on. We'd definitely stay here again.

From a quick glance the property and unit look great, and a very good location. However it doesn’t take long to notice that everything is dirty and run down. Our unit was gorgeous and spacious, however the couch was extremely stained and a burn mark in it, it was so dirty we had to buy a blanket to we could sit down. My daughter got a piece of glass stuck in her foot as soon as she walked into the kitchen. The shower wall had hair clumped onto it and the grout needs to cleaned. Appears to be a ‘party’ condo/hotel and not really for families. Lots of people coming in and out of the place that didn’t appear to be staying there. Location is great, but a lot more care needs to be taken to keep this place nice.

Great location! Beautiful building! A great gym! Our only complaint would be the size of the bed. I am 6' 3" and it was way too small for me. Even my wife, who is 5' 2" thought the bed was small. Also, just beware that parking is $75 a day, which I think is standard for downtown Chicago.
