1 Night in the City!
We booked 3 rooms. 2 out of the 3 were ready much earlier than we expected which was great! We found it a little funny however that the rooms upon arrival had another guests name on the welcome TVs and also had a sparkling juice with card to this person also. Kids got a kick out of it and we were calling ourselves the Bishops for the day. We did an overnight staycation trip with 4 teens and 2 adults. At time of booking and also at a check in call two days prior to arrival we had requested that at least 1 of the rooms to have double beds and the request via text was granted, or so I thought, however upon check in that was said to not be possible due to the ‘holiday weekend’. We managed so no biggie there. We made use of pool, teens enjoyed. Pretty bar/restaurant atmosphere across from lobby. Super fun signature cocktails! We filled out a breakfast card to hang on door for morning breakfast room service and had a few missing items upon arrival but staff was attentive and quickly fixed the errors. Overall we loved our stay. I cannot get enough of the front desk ceiling and the overall beautiful decor! Only suggestion we can make is the mattresses were a little on the overly firm and lumpy side but ‘cest la vie’! Thank you Langham! Your hotel is exquisite and the staff are amazing! We look forward to our next stay!

First thing's first: I am not a wealthy person. I decided to stay at the Langham for one night, just to get a glimpse of how the other half lives, you know. I was able to sit with the doormen for a minute and ask them questions that, I would assume, were completely obvious to most people who stay there. "Is it customary to tip the valet? Wait, I can just call the front desk and they will bring me something if I need it? What do you mean someone can carry my bags for me?" Things like that. They chuckled a bit, which immediately made me feel more relaxed. They are great guys. Cindy at reception checked me in. She was an absolute wonder. I've never been called sir, or Mr. Koors, or anything like that before. I was just kind of standing back listening to her, smiling when she mentioned the packages available at the spa. She saw and asked, "Oh, do you already have a massage booked? Sorry for explaining something you already know." No Cindy, I've just never been to a hotel with a spa. I'm literally standing there in my hand-me-down jeans and an oil-stained hoodie. She thought I bought a massage package? That interaction illustrates my overall feelings about the staff more than anything else I can say. They make you feel like you belong there, even if you don't feel that way yourself. After I got to my room, I thought about it. These people are working class just like me. I'm sure they go through the same struggles I do. But at the Langham, you forget all that. It was a treat.

Strongly recommend paying the extra amount to get access to the club on the 12C floor. Terrific service and they always have great food, drinks and snacks available!! Only negative about this hotel is the restaurant on the second floor. It’s not really a restaurant, they serve food in a few tables in the bar area. The service was average at best and food below average. This is not a big deal unless you’re stuff at the hotel because of bad weather. Besides the minor restaurant issue, this is a 5 star hotel and would recommend to anyone visiting Chicago. Great property, location and service!

I love this property. It's is my favorite plane I have ever stayed. The staff are all amazing. The room was extremely comfortable. I honestly didn't want to leave. The only knock is that the parking was expensive. I wish the rate wasn't all high. Otherwise. Great hotel

We’ve stayed here many times before. Overall great. Club level was very nice and service was good. My only issue was trying to order a bottle of champagne when we were at the pool. After waiting over a half hour, I cancelled the order which they acknowledged but 10 mins later, they tried to deliver it…45 mins aince the order was placed. By that time we were packing up to leave for the spa. On top of that, they tried to still charge me for it even after they said it was cancelled. Very strange. Also the condition has gone down just a bit.

Absolutely amazing experience at The Langham Chicago! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cater to every need with such genuine warmth and attention to detail. The rooms were incredibly spacious, modern, and luxurious, offering breathtaking views of the city and river. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, and the bathrooms felt like a personal spa retreat with a beautiful soaking tub. Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for better; you’re close to all the major Chicago attractions, shopping, and restaurants, yet the hotel feels like a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. If you’re looking for a luxurious, memorable stay in Chicago, The Langham is worth every penny. Can’t wait to return!
