This hotel service was exemplary from ease of checkout, outstandingly comfortable beds and superb onsite restaurant. I didn't have time to try a drink from the am espresso bar (my fault... I overslept), but would expect it is ax wonderful as the rest. The location is also central and makes it easy to get around down down being less than a block away from major buslines.

Great hotel it was the perfect size for me and my wife. Staff was super friendly and the facility was clean. Love it yes parking is a little expensive but it is definitely worth it.

The property does a great job of advertising the hotel, with beautifully done photos. Sadly, the photos do not depict the basic nor superior rooms they have. Upon entering our room I found several black scuff marks on the wall, as if someone had been kicking it, oil residue on the windows, and a giant crack in the edge of the wall. The elevators took a very long time to come, and we’re very small. The hallways were very tiny to get through with luggage. Valet was a little more focus in their friendships, and could have been a little faster with service, if you tell me to let you know I need the car 20 minutes prior, and I let you know 30 minutes prior, and then when I come down you are scrolling and my car still has my arrived because you “forgot” well it leaves a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, but everyone gets wrapped up sometimes. The staff inside however, was so kind and accommodating! They really went above and beyond and we’re so personable, that is really consider staying here again, with maybe a few tweaks. All in all, with the walking distance of things, the pricing, the animal accommodations (cats Included, big seller for us) this is a really good accommodation, as long as you don’t mind things being on the smaller side.

One Step Up From A Hostel
This place is a joke. One step up from a hostel. There was literally no surface in the room to put any of our stuff on. No real closet. One of those portable “cube” ottomans was the only piece of furniture besides the beds. And you had to move it to navigate the room. Anything you put in the “closet” would interfere with opening the door to the room. Noise level from the hospital ER next door is constant.

The St. Clair’s location, staff and facilities are great. I do have several quibbles, however. Our room was far smaller than we expected, and had no place to sit other than the desk chair. There were only two small drawers in the desk, and the bathroom was microscopic with negligible counter space.

The room had a king size bed but not a lot of room otherwise. The bathroom was small. There wasnt a chair in the room just an ottoman. I was next to the elevator and there wasn’t a lot of noise blocking and I heard it all night long along with the constant sound of ambulance sirens.

Quick little getaway!
Pros: Check-in a breeze, located near many things in the city. 15 minute walk to Millennium Park. Water pressure in the shower and toilet were strong. Many towels available for the both of us. Restaurant/var located in the hotel. Microwave and mini fridge in the room. Every staff member we came across in the hotel were nice and professional. Cons: Paper thin walls!! (We used a towel to block the height space to the door, and had the AC running, those helped a bit). Small elevator, not many toiletries, bed had an off odor, mattress had some wear and tear on it (the right side was a bit firm, the center the firmest, and the left side sunken in). The sink would fill up a small bit and take a few minutes to drain. Some plug-ins and outlets didn't have a running current.

The room was Terrible, the location was stellar! My unit was so small that I couldn’t really sleep. Tiny tiny tiny room. It was not very clean.
