The hotel is in a great location, close to transport and the river walk in downtown Chicago. Our room on the 24th floor had a great view of the skyline. The negative part was that we were charged a resort fee on arrival which was not disclosed when we made our booking. These sort of charges should be disclosed at time of booking.

Hotel was average at the best. I think the rooftop and the traffic of wild and mostly drunk people using the elevators all the time would not make this hotel as a relaxing destination. Location is great but the property needs some major upgrades and doesn’t match the price you pay for your stay- Will look for another location for my 4,5 star budget next time

This was a beautiful hotel to stay at. The rooms were clean and big, the bed was very comfy. I would definitely recommend this hotel because the location is very convenient.

Great location and staff generally very friendly and helpful. Room also good - big and well appointed. Some major issues were the general hotel is very tired and badly needs a makeover. Amenities are very so-so and staff in rooftop bar have poor attitude - and charge a fortune for drinks as they add an automatic 20% service charge in my experience. Everything in room (even water) is extra cost. Overall enjoyable but would not stay again.

The property is in a great location downtown. The rooms are interesting in how they are styled. The floors were dirty and obviously not mopped (no carpets). I took off my shoes and within 5 min the bottom of my feet were full of dust and hair. There was also a dried up contact lens on the floor. The TV also would turn off on its own every time you went to the channel guide. Overall, should have been much better for the price.
