I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference in town. It was very nice and right on the river which was perfect for sightseeing. It was within a 15-30min walking distance to most places we went. The pool was great, there is a sauna which was nice, the staff were all very friendly, helpful and responsive. Most importantly, they had bacon on the breakfast buffet! I would definitely stay again.

My room was not ready until after 5pm, which was very inconvenient due to having to also go set up a booth for a tradeshow. Had I known the room wasn’t ready I’d have gone straight to venue instead of spending money to Uber to hotel to drop off of my personal belongings. A few people at the front desk were very friendly and understanding while a few others were rude and seemed annoyed when I asked when I could expect to check in.

Great stay near the river
the voco hotel is centrally located in downtown Chicago next to the river. The Brown L line is a 3 minute walk and all downtown attractions are within walking distance. The hotel lobby is expansive with plenty of sitting and areas for work. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. They include drinking still and sparkling water and offer nespresso machines in the room. Our family was very comfortable in this property.

Awesome safe downtown Chicago hotel
We loved everything about this hotel. Staff was amazing. The area felt INCREDIBLY safe. It was easy to catch an Uber, but it was close enough to walk to a lot of things as well. We checked our bags the day we checked out so we could grab lunch before heading to Milwaukee. That was a mistake and it took forever to retrieve our items. Everything else was fantastic though.
