We always stay here when we come to visit family. We missed seeing Terry this trip as she is one of the reasons we stay here. But those who filled in for her were kind, friendly, personable and accommodating. We will continue to stay here whenever we’re in Chico.

The hotel rooms are nice and updated. Unfortunately the building is older. As a result, the building makes a tremendous amount of creaking and popping noises in the night time as the temperature changes or if it’s windy. We had to set up a white noise machine to drown out the constant noise of wood creaking. The other issue is that the property shares a parking lot with a restaurant. We were woken up two of the three days at 5 am at the sound of large dumpsters being emptied and trucks beeping as they were backing up. Both issues made for poor sleep.

Check in was delayed. Evidently the staff did not coordinate our arrival time. The electric key kept failing, so we had to get replacements. Perhaps the lock on room 107 is defective. Staff was friendly and attempted to remedy the situation.

GURLS NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS- THK YOU <3
We did a quick girls trip to Chico to celebrate the night before Christmas with old friends. I love that the hotel is located a walk away from Downtown Chico, several coffee shops, an antique shop, ice cream shop, and a hot boil crab restaurant. The check-in was smooth and staff were friendly. The room was what you would expect and everything worked, clean, and a good amount of towels. Breakfast is included. Nothing to rave about but you have the essentials... cereal, milk, water, coffee, muffins, and a waffle maker. Hot Waffles with syrup was a 10/10. Breakfast area was super clean. Thank you again to all of the staff that our stay super fun! This will be my go-to spot when visiting Northern California.

Wonderful people every shift
So the shower head in my room did not work so the gal at the front desk got me a new room and personally hand delivered the new set of room keys with apologies about the shower. They are always doing everything in their power to make it a great experience.
