The Hampton inn is a perfect hotel for Childress. We do try to stay here on our way to Denver. We’re grateful that the hotel is clean and a good warm breakfast. We highly enjoy!

Very nice place to stay. Was annoyed at a front desk girl,,the hot tub wasn't working and I went and asked and she said she would find out and send someone but no one came then we went back to ask her again and she just said oh yea we need a part. She had a baby in the room behind front desk which I understand times are tough and I'm glad she is at work but times are tough for me to and I had to work hard to get that room for my kid as well and it's her job to provide service.Tge breakfast was great and so was the lady working in there. Overall great we will be back

The bed was broken in the middle so my husband and I kept rolling to the middle of the bed. The bed was also really hard so we didn’t get much sleep. The room was also super humid and moist feeling. Not the best.

The room A/C fan motor needed replacement (216) very loud when unit was running. Had to shut off to sleep. The room was clean, needed a little TLC in bathroom, the service was good. Just fix the A/C unit.

For a Hampton Hotel it was not up to standard. It was outdated. The bathroom tiles are loose and we didn’t have a shower curtain. It was an ok stay and felt safe, needs to be updated or deep cleaned.

nice comfortable, well appointed and roomy . Good hot breakfast included, very quiet and easy access. located between a truck stop and a walmart where other truckers park for the night- yet the hotel was very quiet. only complkaint this time was the front desk was under staffed , but the attendant was helpful and friendly- there may have been a local school or athletic event because there were lots of younger kids using the pool and hot tub and the hotel ran out of towels and couldn't supply any more even at 6:30 pm when we arrived. So no relaxing at the pool after a 10 hr drive

Nasty carpets & server coughing on breakfast foods
Room was fine but hallway carpets were disgusting. Could not eat the breakfast as the person making it was coughing all over the food (no mask and not covering face). Check in guy was best part of trip. May need to find a dissident hotel when traveling thru this area
